    I called the surgery to make an appointment for my son. While I was on the call I received a text message to advise that the surgery phone lines were down. This was not the case so not sure why I received this text. I was position 20 in the queue when I started the call. I was on hold for a total of 40 minutes before I spoke to someone. When they did answer I was told that the only way to make an appointment would be via their eConsult service. If this was the case then I would not have remained on hold to speak to someone. What is the point of phoning the surgery or for their lines to be open to receive calls? I would suggest they update their website and voice recordings / voicemail to let patients know that no bookings are taken telephonically. This would save people time and frustration trying to book an appointment. So after being on hold for 40 minutes I still had to book the appointment via the eConsult service. Very frustrating and a total waste of my time.

    Friendly ,very helpful receptionist. Did not have to wait too long for appointment. Good,new building . Although the doors to the surgeries are not well sound proofed so you can hear conversations . Nurse was excellent very professional and helpful . Good experience overall

    I submitted an online form for mental health assistance and was scheduled for an appointment next week. I then submitted another form to expedite treatment, but received no response. I’m dissatisfied with the service and believe doctors aren’t reviewing online forms adequately. Streamlining the triaging process would be efficient, as doctors seem disinterested and we can access all our online records.

    Lately, we’ve been having a pretty good service from the surgery but today, we had to wait around 45 minutes, which was really frustrating, especially as we were told we were next, plus we were there early! Plus it was one of the early appointments of the day. Appreciate the reception staff had no idea why the person before us was taking so long. I don’t think we’ve waited that long for a few years, now. Hopefully we won’t experience it again.

    I attempted to register via the NHS app and was told that the surgery accepts out-of-area registrations. However, the website states that my postcode is not covered, and the staff appear uncertain about whether out-of-area registrations are accepted.

    Gp I saw today was honestly such a lovely GP, very thorough, explained everything and made me feel very confident about everything. when I left I felt so much better. She also checked my blood pressure and gave me a blood pressure check to do. What a lovely gp! Thankyou

    Filled out an econsult. Seen by gp and referred same day. The reception team were as friendly as usual and Gp examined me and explained next steps. I generally find all the staff very helpful at this surgery.

    I totally get that scheduling an appointment online and requesting a call back is way better than calling at 8 am. But what if you could send a link to the patient so they can book their follow-up call with their preferred clinician? Or maybe even let them book online? Sometimes, calling the patient to set up the appointment call isn’t always the most convenient option. And let’s not forget about asking them to come in when they’re at work - that’s just not practical!
