Had my cervical smear this morning. The nurse talked me through everything she would be doing how the process works. Explained about what they would be looking for. How long the results would take. The nurse made me feel very comfortable an at ease

Although I was seen a little after my appointment time. The nurse did apologise, I understand that occasionally an appointment may take longer than expected. The nurse fully explained the procedure and ensured I had an opportunity to ask questions . Thank you for putting me at ease .

I had an appointment today with the nurse. Sadly they were running 30 minutes late. The waiting room was almost full but not with just patients, everyone seemed to have someone with them. The nurse I saw was lovely. She explained everything very thoroughly. The treatment was mildly painful but acceptable. Not once did I feel I was being rushed and she was happy to discuss my treatment at great length. The nurse was called Jane Arherton.

Do not fall for the good reviews - I have spoken to so many people about this practice and not one of them has a good review! But anyway......... I rang today (only to now be directed to a call centre, you cant even speak to your own gp's receptionist anymore) to chase up result of a chest xray I had over 3 weeks ago. Only to be informed that they have not had it and then asked if I would chase the hospital - really!?!?! Is someone paying me for doing their job for them! I should add that I have now checked with the hospital who issued this the day after my visit, and have sent me evidence of such. Then when asking for a follow up appointment - to be told they cant see me for 6 weeks ! Honestly, someone could be incredibly ill and yet they cant see you for 6 weeks - unbelievable! They do have 3 on the day appointments available but you have to try and fight through the queues on the phone in the morning to bag one of those - I mean 3 a day for a surgery with over 10,000 patients is just ridiculous. I seriously cannot think of enough adjectives to describe the beyond terrible service they are providing and would beg anyone who is considering registering with this surgery to give it a very very wide berth! They are verging on being negligent to their patients.

This surgery used to be great but the last few months have been so frustrating. The receptionist and doctors are great until it comes to the covid spring booster. I'm housebound and was told they would get to me. Next thing I knew was that they'd finished the housebound so I had to go without it.I'm immuno suppressed and also have COPD. Notifications are now arriving for the winter vaccination. I've been in touch numerous times and each time it is the same reply. They keep saying my COPD but it's my immuno suppressed that makes it high priority. Do I have to go through winter withough a booster. To say I'm frustrated is putting it mildly

Visited the doctors to arrange a follow up appointment from a visit 6 weeks ago. The Receptionist told me it would be a 5 week wait and then informed me that they do have about three daily appointments issued on the day. Three! So I have no choice but to try and change my surgery, I have been enrolled at the lsv doctors for 10 plus years. I was told to ring NHS direct, I wonder what the point is of having this surgery. Would definitely not recommend.

The Drs & Nurse genuinely care about the care they give. They always make me feel welcome and the care and advice they always give is always in your best interests and to improve your health and general well being. The Receptionists are always professional, friendly and caring. The best receptions I have ever encountered. They appear to really do all they can to get you the earliest appointment with the correct practitioner. Thank you to you all for being the best practice I have ever been to. Thank you 😊
