She's always available for me to talk to ,help me cope, I will never been able to thank her enough ,words are not enough. Also the nurse is excellent.

  2. Review titled Efficient, professional, empathetic support

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Despite the doctor being curt and unfriendly initially, she warmed up and discussed my issue thoroughly and sensitively without judgement or berating my excessive excersising event. She made the path of recovery very clear and gave good advice regarding pain killers.

  3. Review titled Excellent

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have had several health issues this year, all have been dealt with with professional compassion and efficiency. I have used the online triage on several occasions and each time felt confident that the staff have directed appropriate treatment including F2F with a doctor where required. Reception and admin staff have been nothing but courteous and helpful when I have had to speak to them. Nurses and health assistants too. The appointments and checking in systems work well. I am an older person and wholeheartedly welcome remote reporting and consultation where appropriate to allow more efficient use of staff time. Thank you.

  4. Review titled Very professional practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by David Payne - Posted on 21 September 2023

Having a number of health issues at my very mature age, I can state that I have always received the most professional care at this practice. Yes I would like more convenience and speed and a personal doctor, however times change and demand increases. So I have learned that patents require patience when needing to use this practice and when my needs have been urgent, a couple of times this year, I have used 111 with great success and outcomes. Of course much can be improved in our NHS, however under all the circumstances, this practice is wonderful, all the more so because of the excellent doctors and staff. Sincere thanks!

Dear David Payne, Thank you for taking time out of your day to write this positive review. As a surgery we endeavour to offer patients continuity with their GP but if a patients need is of greater urgency, we will offer a different GP to ensure the patient is seen sooner. I will feed this back to our clinician team, it is always nice to start the week on a positive. Kind regards, Sean Whittall Practice Operations Lead

  5. Review titled Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

The doctors seem to work more from home these days so impossible to get a appointment and when you do it’s only telephone consultation’s and as for the receptionist’s they are so short and makes you feel like you’re in the wrong for asking for help or advice. And upon waiting for a telephone call from the GP if you miss the call they don’t ring back, this happened to me and when I rang back saying I missed the call the receptionist said I had to book another appointment which took another 2 weeks. This is appalling service and I feel for the people that really do need help weather this is for mental health wellness or just feeling unwell, I can say my personal opinion is this triage system doesn’t work. And upon a rare occasion you do get a appointment personally I have had to cancel as I work full time and the GP surgery seem to think I can just leave my work to attend with minimal notice.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your feedback. All triage requests are reviewed by a GP Partner at the Practice who then triages accordingly and advises what appointment should be allocated. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact the Practice and ask to speak to Sean Whittall, Complaints Lead.

  6. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I want to express how brilliant Malvern Health Centre are. I have responsibility for my 93 year old mother & all the staff I have spoken to in the last 5 years have always been so considerate, efficient & provide exemplary care for her. Recently I had to contact them while I was away abroad & the online triage is a fantastic system & I was called by a GP twice while away to discuss the concern, and they went above & beyond to care for my mother’s needs. Nothing but praise for the Malvern Health Centre team.

  7. Review titled Absolutely appalling

I have been Ill for 3mths seen by 1 GP in all this time my symptoms are far worse than they were I have told the receptionist I’m gravely concerned about how poorly I feel, got told 2 weeks for a blood test unless I done them myself as I’m a nurse which I had to do, got a telephone call from the receptionist to ask if I’m available in a weeks time to actually see a GP, this triage system is not working and get told to ring 111 all the time this is awful to leave people in pain and worried for there health and there mental health, what should it take to see a GP at this surgery? Plus I have Bipolar Disorder and my mental state is suffering. But they don’t care at all don’t see why they take an oath if they don’t want to be a GP

  8. Review titled Highly Professional Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mike Angell - Posted on 30 April 2024

Following on from a triage form completed on the 29th April 2024 online I was contacted within one hour by phone and offered doctors appointment at 11.45am. I was seen by a doctor who verbally reviewed my medical concerns that I had previously completed. The doctor completed a physical examination and determined a diagnosis. He requested that I return in a week after taking a course of medication to assess the next course of action and if necessary a referral to hospital if needed. He also checked my blood pressure which was high and suggested that I complete at home a seven day self monitoring of my blood pressure using my own equipment. This will be reviewed on Tuesday next week the 7th May to consider a change to my medication. I have the highest regards for all staff members at Malvern Health Centre no matter whatever the nature of my medical condition. Their approach to patients care is of the highest standards in my opinion and experience.

  9. Review titled Ridiculous Appointment System

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 March 2023

I used to find this practice very attentive but recently things have become ridiculously difficult. I tried to book an appointment today for any time over the next few weeks (not urgent but menopause has kicked in so I need advice and treatment to help me) I was told that appointments are only available daily at 8am - how is a parent supposed to sit in a long telephone queue each morning only to finally be put through to a receptionist whilst in the school playground to explain they’re menopausal?! Surely there should be a non urgent appointment system running alongside the daily appointments one?
