    I found her very nice and thorough. I would see her again. I am unable to name individuals due to your policy but my specific doctor deserves to be mentioned when compared to others at the practice.

    The form process is working really well. Getting an appointment and updates on tests or further information are quickly provided. Making phone calls on the other hand can be very slow. Took me ages for someone to answer. But the staff are helpful.

    Provided letter to doctor and additional documentation for my illness. After a mth they lost my paperwork and didn’t even bother to tell me. Practice not as good as before.

    I had a problem trying to make an appointment on line. So I rang to speak to a receptionist. She was very helpful indeed. I received a phone call with an appointment to see someone later. I don’t know if this was a Dr. Or a pharmacist . I should have asked her. She was very nice and helpful. But I am sorry to say that I prefer the old way of making an appointment.

    The practice is absolutely unrealistic in approach, unlike how it use to be. This method of booking appointments is appalling against the telephone call or booking appointments in advance. Also, not everyone can navigate this, especially for a sick person. You do not have option of who to see. Different GP every appointment does little help, especially when you need to discuss a follow up issue. I was told that I was being sent to a GP that knows very much about my problem instead of a particular one I wanted to see. The gp I was sent to ended up rushing back and forth to the gp I requested to see asking questions about how to deal with my case. Nice staff as they try to attend to you. The system is totally unfit for purpose. I am considering changing to somewhere.

    Using the online triage form to make an appointment for a follow up blood test was so much easier than a time consuming phone call. Within a couple of hours I received a link to an appointment schedule with plenty of options. But be aware that the first date offered was a couple of weeks away, so ensure that you plan accordingly.

    I booked a GP appointment in January and this is what I got out of it: There was no parking and have been fined £60 and yet I was not obstructing any cars. I was not able to walk due to concussion I suffered after an accident so had to park nearby. Secondly the GP that saw me was in a rush to get me out of her office, she assumed I was wasting her time and was extremely unhelpful. I’m still suffering with pain and cough after two weeks out of fear of returning to that awful place.

I do know you have contacted the surgery regarding these issues and we will be in touch. Regarding the parking fine unfortunately the car park is owned by Attenborough Health Limited therefore we have no control or input in this so please kindly do raise your parking issue with Attenborough Surgery.     I always use the NHS app and send the surgery a message about whatever is wrong and I always get a response same day and either prescription given or an appointment if necessary. The only thing that is always ignored is there is a option to put times to call, and as I work I always state call at lunch time or after school hours. This is never looked at and I am left messages saying we have contacted you but you have not answered etc So all I can ask for is please look at the times stated or take that option away as it’s just frustrating that we answer the questions but they are clearly not always read

    I didn’t feel very optimistic when I filled out the patient triage form with my symptoms and requesting an appointment, but within a couple of hours I was called and offered an appointment shortly afterwards. This was even quicker the second time. The doctor was very attentive and took time to assess me and explain all the possible options. It’s obvious they were very busy but I really appreciate the time he took and I felt listened to.

    I tried to organise a home visit for my mother yesterday. I did a triage form and was subsequently phoned. I was offered an appt at surgery I explained to the lady that I needed a home visit as my mum was unstable and unable to be safely transferred to the wheelchair/car. The lady proceeded to tell my that we couldn’t have a home visit as my mum isn’t registered as housebound, I explained again and she repeated again and again that we weren’t allowed a home visit and took absolutely no notice of what I was saying. I asked to speak to another person, tried to explain but got the same robotic response. No flexibility and no interest in our circumstances and lied about asking the doctor if he would visit. Both women sounded like they were reading from a script, it was both upsetting and disgusting treatment. I have no problem in saying I was rude back to them, I’ve never known anything like it and generally find everyone is helpful. The upshot is I rang back and spoke to a receptionist, got a telephone appt and the doctor arranged to visit mum this morning. I’ll be delighted if someone at Manorview took the time to listen to my phone call. Customer service training is very much needed.
