The doctor I saw today was amazing - understanding, reassuring and gave me time. Everything was explained well to me too. I came away with a huge sense of relief!

Review titled Awful - should be investigated.

Don't register with this practice. Ever since it's merged and became part of the partnership it's not fit for purpose. You cannot get an appointment - the receptionists won't allow you to book (they say there's a waiting list of a month) and when you call up they tell you to use econsult and that is a joke too - no one gets back to you or replies so it's absolutely pointless. This practice should be investigated for its practices and being very unhelpful especially when you want your blood test results. Forget about getting them- it's not possible. You call up and they cannot release them due to the receptionists not being medically qualified, so you never get them and GP never calls. No wonder people are going private. Awful practice.

Cant get an appointment, been waiting 6weeks for urgent test results, doctors wont give test results and instead send a letter with a booking reference with no explaination E Consult is useless, Its not read and doctor never calls Call at 8am every morning for 4weeks and still cant get appointment at any of the surgeries attached to the partnership. 39minutes on hold at 8am to be told more people waiting no appointments. Partnership is a laughing Joke and no wonder NHS is in crisis and people take matters into their own hands

Review titled A great listener
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Most times I have needed to speak to the Dementia Coordinator the phone has been answered & I have spoken to her. This lady is very compassionate & understanding & instantly makes one feel relaxed from the start. I, as a recent dementia patient, feel I am more understanding of the disease thanks to the Coordinator. Many thanks.

The nurse rang me to discuss my blood test results, she was extremely caring and explained everything to me very clearly and in detail. She showed empathy’s and care and gave me as much time as I need on the call.

This surgery is terrible before it was merged the halfway surgery were absolutely brilliant couldn’t fault them but since they have merged the surgery’s together it’s been terrible. Always long phone queues. Some receptionists don’t have a clue what they are going on about and give wrong information out which is causing terrible trouble and serious consequences. Being told the surgery cannot deal with urine samples even though the receptionist told me to go to the surgery and take it in to be done was then told to go to an urgent treatment centre as they couldn’t deal with it which is ridiculous! Then ended up being pushed from pillar to post at the hospital and wrong results given which has caused me to have a severe raging uti which was untreated for nearly 2 weeks due to the surgery not being able to deal with it. It’s really not good enough. Being told they have no appointments for smear tests and to phone back at the end of the month! To then phone back at the end of the month and be told oh you’ll have to phone back again at the end of the month as we don’t have any appointments! Managed to get one eventually for over 6 weeks time which is ridiculous as it’s already 5 months overdue because of the surgery messing around. Many complaints have been made and they do nothing about it. Was meant to have a phone call from a gp got to half 5 and phoned to check the phone call was still going to happen to be told yes your on the list and will get a call back! Got to 8pm and nothing! Phoned the next day to be told the doctor who was going to call isn’t in until the following week but was about urgent medication which I had ran out of and needed urgently explained this and got told would have to wait until the following week. Absolutely disgusting service!! They don’t care about their patience just the money they get for them. Absolute joke.

Since the merger with Maritime Health it has become impossible to get an appointment to see a doctor,a telephone consult is near impossible an utter waste of time.
