Contacted the surgery to enquire over a 'batch call off' as I have been informed by my pharmacy that the current 'call off' had been fulfilled and they were unable to supply. This took place on late Friday evening, not allowing sufficient time to contact the surgery. On contacting the surgery on Monday the receptionist was understanding of my predicament and offered to press for the batch renewal to be actioned urgently. She promised to contact me when the renewal has been processed. Within 15 minutes she had called me back to say that this now been processed. This was a service of the highest order and I cannot thank them enough for their effort.

I had great service from a member of the reception team who dealt with my medication problems quickly and efficiently. She rang me back to confirm it had been dealt with. She was very polite, friendly and professional in the way she dealt with my issues. Thankyou

The triage system appears to be very efficient. I recieved a call 20 minutes from a Dr who again checked in on me the same day and the next day. The Dr who gave me the steroid injections in my knees did so with fantastic communication and explanation of the procedure and put me at ease from the beginning. My autism and mental health problems were compassionately acknowledged and I was treated with dignity throughout. A huge thankyou to all the team who cared for me!

I have been using this surgery for many years now. I have needed medical, surgical and psychiatric care. All of it has been given quickly, with empathy and in an appropriate way. Since major brain surgeries I have been housebound. A practitioner from the Surgery comes to my home to give me vaccinations, draw blood and to liaise over any of my care issues. The triage system works perfectly and I always get a call back when I use it. I have recently had surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital, all arranged as an emergency by Melrose Surgery. I was kept informed of the process at all times, had a follow up call from my GP and he is going to review my case when the stitches need to be removed at the end of this week. All the staff with whom I have spoken are friendly and do their very best to help.

I had to sign on as a temporary patient in Devon and the temp practice deleted my registration at melrose surgery, endangering ongoing referrals and appointments. Thankfully melrose swiftly put it right and absolutely restored my faith in people. No fuss, no bother , the receptionist knew exactly what to do saving me a metric ton of bother. Huge thanks

My 1 year old had his 4 vaccines today and the nurse’s care was exceptional. She took time to explain all the vaccines he was having plus any side effects we could expect in the next few days.

I’ve recently moved practices and it was so easy to register. Absolutely no hassle. I went today for a blood test and it was also so easy and honestly completely painless. The nurse was very good at her job and made me feel very comfortable. So far a great experience

I messaged online about a problem I had just before 8am. I received a telephone call by 830am and had a face to face appointment at 10am. The Dr was very thorough and I left with a diagnosis and treatment plan by 10:10am.

I have had to go for appointments and bloods recently after an unexplained illness and every member of staff from reception to nurses to my GP have been so helpful and efficient. I feel listened to and everything has been quite quick to investigate what is going on. I've been kept up to date with referrals and all my questions answered.

I was referred to this practice by my GP surgery for a procedure. From first contact today they had received my referral, to being contacted to book and the appointment and procedures itself, the whole process ran smoothly and efficiently. Upon arrival I parked easily, registered my vehicle and checked in. I was seen on time and the procedure went perfectly!
