The doctor (sadly didn’t catch her name) saw me at the end of a busy Friday for her. She listened & was thorough with her examination of me. She was clear & why I did not need another course of antibiotics. Plus advice on the cough remaining & for how long.

My reason for leaving the review very likely/unlikely to recommend the practice was based on how difficult it was to get an initial appointment even after explaining that blood results (not taken by the surgery) had been missed for a year that needed attention. However, every member of staff that I spoke to at reception were very helpful and did their best to get me seen by a GP. After my appointment I can only say that the GP has been amazing with sorting relevant appointments and has been in regular contact with me for an ongoing issue .

Covid booster jab. Jubilee more accessible than Whiteley, closer to my home with parking easily available and a more relaxed attitude when visiting. Can I transfer from Whiteley to the Jubilee surgery?

The main issue is getting an appointment. This isn't the surgeries fault, too many new people moving to the area. When I have needed the doctors, help has also been good. Follow up calls and texts have always been received and the surgery has always done things they said they would.

I have seen a doctor twice now. It seems like the practice has gone back to how it once was. Unfortunately, it's because I am being investigated for cancer. But I can't fault the doctor, who has been guiding me during this unexpected tricky time.

Rather than dealing with the situation, I was passed on to the pharmacy to obtain medication for my daughter’s reoccurring tonsillitis who could not prescribe antibiotics as it was a reoccurring problem. If I had been given time to reply to the e-consult to explain this rather than it being closed within 10 mins of submission then it would have saved me dragging my unwell child out of the house unnecessarily and taking up a slot on the next days list (after waiting ages to speak to anyone). The staff who I actually spoke to were really polite and understanding and we eventually got the medication, just 24 hours later than ideal! Please take an extra couple of minutes to properly read the issue (I advised it was reoccurring)and allow time for a response to be made before closing down an e-consult, it’s usually already taken us at least 30 mins of our day sat on the phone waiting, we do not want to have to repeat it because you close the ticket down prematurely!

Surgery pharmacist changing BP medication and dosages, but new drug not on my repeat prescription, so how do I get it. Changes have not improved my BP , now another med has been added on top of earlier change and increased dosage. I was also contacted by another company causing more confusion but they said they would leave it with the practice. On the phone I had a blood test arranged and attended my local Jubilee Surgery on time to be told I should be at Whitely, again this caused further confusion and we had to arrange another appointment 5 days later. This has caused frustration and unnecessary worry which doesn't help my blood pressure.
