The Doctor had full knowledge of my medical records and was able to have a meaningful discussion . Took time to examine and was able to put mind at ease and gave clear guidance on managing my condition. Thank you.

It has taken me over a week to finally create an e-consult, due to the fact that there was no option to create an appointment or prescription request from the NHS app or from The Grays Surgery website. When I did finally manage to generate and complwte the form, it was unclear whether my surgery would be contacted or the one in Milton road. However, I really appreciated the quick text message response advising that my prescription has been sent to my nominated pharmacy.

Dear Patient. Thank you for leaving your review. I am very sorry that you have had difficulty in accessing our services via E-consult or via our website. The staff at the surgery would be very happy to help you with this if you have problems in the future. Please do not hesitate to contact us. When a patient sends a request to the surgery via e-consult the request comes directly into our clinical system. This is then usually dealt with by the staff at your usual site, however you can choose to book an appointment a either of our sites. I hope this helps. Once again many thanks for leaving this review and making us aware of your problem. Elaine Jordan, Practice Manager, 01375 807130, elaine.jordan1@nhs.net

I have seeing different doctors for the past year but it was my first time to encounter such a worst consultation. I was trying to provide information regarding my concern but the doctor told to my face that he is not interested with my explanation. He does not even know the medical procedure I was asking.

Dear Patient. Thank you for leaving your review. I am very sorry to hear that you were not happy with your consultation and would value the opportunity of discussing this with you in more detail. Please contact me at the surgery if you would like to talk about your experience. The practice employs permanent staff at both the Grays and Milton Road sites. On some occasions such as holidays and staff sickness it may be necessary to see a locum clinician. Please ask the receptionists to book you with your chosen clinicians and they will arrange this for you. . Elaine Jordan Practice Manager

I don't think it is fair that my medications were stopped and i struggled for 2 weeks to get a medication review, after 2 weeks i was told to complete an econsult. My medications are not new and the dose has remained the same for over a year. Not having access to my medication means i become unwell, don't sleep with enhanced pain. Once i used econsult the issue was resolved quickly. Patients should be informed to use econsult instead of trying to get a face to face appointment with a gp

Dear Hayley. I am very sorry that you encountered difficulty when trying to order your medication. I do not have the details or know circumstances of why your medication was stopped but would very be happy to investigate this matter for you if you would like to contact me. The easiest ways to order your prescription is to use e-consult which we are encouraging patients to do or email admin.miltonrd@nhs.net. If you have difficulty accessing services in the future, please contact the surgery and ask to speak to a Manager. The Managers at both sites hold weekly telephone 'speak up' sessions. These sessions enable us to listen to patients concerns and solve problems. Thank you. Elaine Jordan, Practice Manager.

Dear Patient. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The practice adheres to the GP contract in that we offer appointments within a 2 week time frame. Both face to face and telephone appointments are available to patients on request. I am sorry if you were not offered the type of appointment you wanted on that occasion. The practice will always endeavour to give telephone appointments at a time to suit the patient. I.e.. around work commitments, telephone consultations are triaged by the clinicians for urgency, therefore we cannot always give a precise time. If you would like to discuss your comments further. Please do not hesitate to contact me at the surgery. Once again thank you for leaving your feedback. Elaine JOrdan - Practice Manager

Very friendly reception staff, happy to help you. There wasn’t a doctor available to see my baby when he was unwell so they were able to send me to a nearby surgery, really happy with the service.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are aware that it is often an anxious time when a young child is unwell and as such we hold a dedicated Children's clinic every day (Monday to Friday) within the Practice in order to ensure we are responsive and are able to quickly see and assess. Your feedback is much valued Many thanks again, Sharon Hogarth Managing Partner
