    My complaint with this surgery is not about the level of treatment - I recently saw a doctor about my tennis elbow & he was very good. However, since the introduction of Patchs it seems to take a long time to see anyone. About a month ago I had a problem with my big toe. It took 2 weeks to see a nurse & I was told that if it didn't improve in 2 weeks to make another appointment. Now I have to wait another 3 weeks before I can see anyone. Now I know it's not a serious problem but waiting around that long doesn't help a person's state of mind, & I find it very annoying.

    Had a concern with a pain in my calf muscle / veins and was seen the same day. Always impressed with the fabulous service at Heswall & Pensby surgery - thank you to everyone there.

    The GP spent some time wandering around the back of the reception desk then returned to their room. This was 40 minutes after my appointment time.

    Such care, patience and understanding from the GP looking after my numerous issues, ensuring a refused referral is now going ahead, a credit to the practice. Support staff all very helpful and efficient. Thanks doesn't seem enough.

    Having recently contacted the surgery via Patches, I have been absolutely blown away by the level of care I have received. Within such a short space of time, the quickness of tests that I have had completed through to the referral have been amazing. The doctor has been nothing short of amazing. Once I was past the initial dreaded Patches system from there on in the care I have received from the doctor has been fantastic. Thank you

    I cannot speak highly enough about the excellent service from Heswall and Pensby practice. I recently had to attend with heart and breathing problems and I was seen promptly, given care and attention and the only reason that this problem was resolved positively was due to the excellent diagnostic work of medical staff - both nursing and doctors. All staff are courteous and helpful, including hardworking admin staff who always give their best in a busy reception. I honestly cannot say enough to express my thoughts about the first class service I have received at Heswall and Pensby and recommend it highly.

    Visited the surgery a little over a week ago owing to severe nosebleeds.Had concern they may have been owing to high blood pressure. After a test it became apparent they were unlikely to be owing to a blood pressure issue. I was not given any definitive diagnosis, only mentioning ,both historic ,and future requests to send blood pressure readings taken from home, an appointment for phlebotomy tests, and an ENT referral. All most probably unnecessary .Too much emphasis on ticking boxes which surely is a waste of GP time, funding, and resources.

     I completed a patchs for my daughter and we were seen the same day. We saw a GP i had never had an appointment with before but she was brilliant! She listened to the problem and was quick in sorting out the problem for us. She tried ringing different departments to get us where we needed to be. It did result in us attending Alder Hey but the GP did everything she could to make it as fast and easy as possible for us. She was so caring and understanding which really put my mind at ease having had two A&E attendances and not getting very far. Thank you for such great care towards my daughter.

    this practice is what a medical practice should be. excellent staff, from receptionists to nurses to doctors, you can speak to them on the phone if you need to and always sort thing out.

    Following completion of patch’s I was being seen in the surgery by a doctor within 2 hours .This was exceptional service.
