    Your Review: I spent about 20 minutes with one of the practice doctors and would just like to say how very pleased I was with the sympathetic and logical way in which my questions were addressed. This is at a time when some medical staff in England are criticised for not being more available to patients. In my case nothing but praise for the unhurried way I was treated. Well done and thanks.

    Even at times when things a busy. I totally understand the surgery does everything to reduce the waiting time for appointments and to ensure the patient is ok

    Due to previous mention from friends and family around the poor management of the practice, decided to go private. But, needed some forms needed filling in and the reception staff were awfully rude with poor attitude. Despite, needing urgent care, I at one point was refused by the reception staff that they would deal with the issue. I have rarely used this practice if ever but the time I needed them I have never known a worse GP

    As patients we are led to believe that filling in an econsult will result in us being seen by the most appropriate person for the problem. This was not my experience today. The doctor we saw was totally unsuitable and had no idea how to resolve the problem. This was a total waste of my time and his.

    In the past month I have had occasion to use the "Patches"service on no fewer than three occasions and I have to congratulate hpgp on this very efficient operation. On each application I have been seen within twenty four hours, on the last request I completed the form at 11 am and was seen at 4pm the same day.What a difference from the previous never ending form filling that went before . Congratulations hpgp.

    As usual the response to my patches request was promptly dealt with. I was given an appointment within a few days and was treated with care and professionalism. The practice is friendly and efficient.

    I attended the practice and my appointment was 20 minutes late. The disinterested doctor offered no apology or acknowledgement of the delay. After spending time filling in information on line, it was clear the doctor had not read it as I had to repeat everything again. Doctor also did not pay attention to what I said and I had to correct them several times as she described what I said incorrectly. Doctor had me in and out within 5 minutes and I felt did not take my concerns seriously. A very poor experience - I don’t go to the doctors much so felt that when I do have a problem I would like to be listened to and shown some empathy.

    Dear Anonymous I am sorry your appointment was running 20 minutes late but sometimes the doctor does need to spend longer with some patients because of the conditions that are presented. Although they try to run on time they also have to address patients health needs which may be urgent. I am sorry you had a poor experience but if you can contact me at the practice I will be happy to investigate your concerns with the GP you consulted and respond to you personally with an outcome.     I am lucky enough not to be poorly that often, so when I contact the surgery it is because I need to see a GP as I am unwell and can't be self-treated. Having a problem that reoccurs at least annually for which I have been referred to a specialist and had CT scans in the past, I contacted the GP surgery for help, as I am aware of the signs and symptoms I get and when I need to have something prescribed. I used the Patches system having had symptoms for over a week and was given a face to fact appointment some 3 weeks later!!!!! This was then challenged and was given a telephone consultation a week earlier!!! How difficult is it to get to see a doctor to get help. . Your response when challenged "if symptoms worsen I should attend a local walk in centre". The timeframe you offer is totally unacceptable. I now have to suffer in severe pain - The service you offer is appalling, it is know wonder that the GP Out of Hours/Walk in centres are so stretched. Whatever happened to being able to call the surgery to make an appointment because you are genuinely poorly ??

    I would like to provide feedback regarding the professional ,courteous care I received at a recent consultation with a Physician Associate at the practice. I was given sufficient time and felt that my concerns were taken seriously. I received a text following the consultation confirming what had been discussed. I consider that visiting a Physician Associate has been a positive experience and an excellent addition to the staff group. I would also like to compliment the reception staff for their professional approachable manner. Many thanks
