Review titled Very good practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Colin Harrison - Posted on 08 January 2025
Today I went to the Queen Street surgery for injections into my shoulder the rotary cuff or Cap on my arrival, I found the place to be clean and tidy. Had a little wait because there was several people in front of me however went to sit to see the receptionist. She was very good. She dealt with me and told me where to go. I proceeded to section C and I sat down there and waited for the doctor to see me, in a short while the doctor asked me to come into a room she Asked me to take a seat I had to sign two forms one for myself one for her then she proceeded to examine my shoulder with various movements and then decided she was going to give me an injection into the shoulder. I found her to be very methodical and would not hesitate in wanting to see her again for treatment. Also she gave me good advice of what to do now over the next few days, all in all good experience today

Dr called early in the morning as promised and was thorough and prompt to diagnose. Appropriate steps were taken immediately and I was even texted some patient information about the condition which arrived before the call had even finished. Well done NHS ❤️❤️

I had a phone appointment with a doctor this afternoon. He was very helpful in getting me on the waiting list to see a doctor for a injection in my hip.

I Submitted a follow up query and received a phone call from a GP within a few hours. I have now been referred and things look to be moving in the right direction.

My son has been struggling with severe fatigue & tonsillitis. The doctor pointed out the 2 are likely connected & is rushing his appointment for tonsil extraction as an emergency as we’ve been on the list since last March to be seen.

Review titled Appointment within 1.5 hours.
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had visited the surgery after having a niggling lump on the back of my head, I left it to see if it would go by itself. it hadn't gone away for a number of weeks so I decided to phone my gp surgery to get it checked out. I phoned first thing in the morning and after a few minutes I was speaking to the receptionist. She offered me an appointment for 10.30 that morning. When I saw the Doctor he was fantastic, checked my symptoms and gave me some reassuring advise. I've been at my GP surgery for many years and have always felt accommodated with any health issues I may of had.

I was seen by a lovely young doctor who was very approachable and gentle. She immediately put me at ease. I needed an injection into my knee, and she was gentle and efficient

I was booked into this practice in December but I had a problem and couldn't make it. In January I received a phone call from the practice and they booked me in 2nd week of January. I was very surprised and happy with how quick I was rebooked. I turned up for the jabs and the doctor there was excellent. I was seen very quickly and I must say that they were very friendly and helpful. So thank you all for being so nice, I wish you well and a happy new year.
