The receptionists seem to be able to judge how important your telephone call is and act accordingly, and always get a phone call back when scheduled. When visiting th practice I always feel safe and treated with respect.

It is getting extremely difficult to get through to the surgery to make an appointment. They have introduced a new phone system that goes straight to the answer phone... This is extremely frustrating when you finally get to the end of the message only to find out it is engaged! Surely if it is engaged it shouldn't even go to the answerphone! It would make booking an appointment so much better if we got the engaged tone instead of listening to the answerphone message numerous times only to find out its engaged! I can't fault the nurses, I think they do a great job.

Thank you for your feedback. We have now upgraded our telephone system and added more appointments on-line which we believe has improved the access availability for our patients. Lovely people, good range of services and usually prompt responses. Answerphone response could be improved, not least to change the music and eliminate having to start all over again if anything goes wrong!

Got an appointment quickly and urgent referral to hospital to see consultant. I was able to be seen by a female doctor which made the experience easier and more comfortable with having to have an internal examination. Got an appointment at the hospital quickly and I have in fact seen the consultant today.
