    Wanted to make a appointment yet again they said a doctor may call me back.? I asked that I did not want them to call me due to family in the home hearing me having to explain my problem. They said that's the only way they do it and I needed to tell the staff my health problem. When I said I need to see only the doctors regarding my problem to explain they said they could not do that ubless i told them.

    I have received a prompt and responsive service from the GPs on the telephone and I have been asked to come in to be examined and for tests when appropriate. When I have telephoned the phone has been answered and my experience of the reception staff is that they have been polite and kind. I have also found the nurses kind and professional. I have not had to wait a long time to be contacted or to be given an appointment.

    I have been with this practice for nearly 20 years and think the doctors, nurses and reception staff are always very professional. I understand there is a backlog of patients now wanting to access NHS services via their GPs and this must be putting a huge strain on staff. Despite this they are always very polite when I visit - I have never experienced any rudeness from the reception staff.

    I contacted the surgery to arrange a blood test they had requested (they never told me but I found out from pharmacist) and having waiting 45 mins on phone (i had tried over last few days and after waiting for 30 mins plus numerous times I hung up) they eventually answered -- and let all bad customer focused organisations there was no apology for the delay. No point in calling this surgery if it is urgent! I also asked to make an appointment to meet doctor and after going around in circles she said someone would call me over next few days. Therefore I am now left wondering if I can. They have no clue about patient service. and my god I regret so much been registered with this clinic. My strong advise to all new comers to the area - for your health and the health of your family go to a different surgery.
