Had to battle with a very obstructive receptionist in order to get an appt. They are not medically trained and have no right to deny people access to treatment needed ie antibiotic treatment. They appear to have no understanding of the importance that the delay of prompt treatment to treat an infection can lead to sepsis. Disgusting

Phoned surgery at 8.30 am to ask for an appointment Was given one for 2.30 pm Staff were extremely helpful and the person I saw was able to deal with my problem Am now feeling much better Than you

They are now seeming to get on top of things that people with type one diabetes, are entitled too, and begining to listen to them. Not before time.

Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Easy to see the Dr, who was kind, sympathetic and also helpful. Really am beyond grateful for the support.

Never got to speak to a Dr, had to wait most of day for a telephone call NP not at the surgery. Had to wait another day for a home visit.

The factvi had to sit waiting while no one rlse went in ir out to see nurse and was late goingbin for my apt for no apoarent reason. When i did get into room, my injection wasnt even prepared despite the nuse kniwing why i was going and clearly hadnt checjed my notes as she wasnt aware which arm to unjwct nor the fact my notes stated i was needle phobic. Having to wait unnrsccessarily knowing what i am going in for only causes me anxiety . Had soneone (other patient) been with the nurse then i understand i have to wait but this is not usually the case

Took time to get through on the phone but got call back from Doctor promptly. Got appointment for necessary tests in good time. Helpful person on phone at reception

I have always found the staff at Oak Hall Surgery to be very helpful and accommodating whenever I’ve needed an appointment or medication.

The visit to the surgery was hassle free. All my questions were answered in a professional manner. I had immediate medication available and a follow up appointment was set up. I had a text a few hours later to tell me a referral was in place. Bearing in mind i rang for an appointment that very morning.

My diabetes is obviously being monitored closely and I know I can always count on the fact that they call for me when the various reviews fall due. I have also received very helpful telephone reviews from pharmacists who have been arranged for me by the surgery. I truly appreciate what the staff (including receptionists, who are always helpful) and doctors, nurses do for me. Thank you all so much.
