This practice needs urgent intervention. Never try to pop in to make an appointment, you are treated as though you have committed a heinous crime, yet they never answer the phone. I was informed by the hospital side that there are no doctors on site at the surgery, which made sense. I went home and repeatedly tried to get through and though the receptionists were sat around when I attended, I could not get through. In the end I had to take my husband to the corby hospital. Thankfully he was seen and told he needed to see his doctor within a couple of days to check the medication was working. Could not get an appointment. In then end we had to go private, which is probably what all this poor behaviour from our gp's is driving us towards. Then, I have had letters telling me I need to book cervical screening at my g.p... been trying on and off for weeks but have not yet got through, each time sitting for over 30 mins being told 2nd in the queue, then 1st in the queue then it just rings out, no answer. Tried for an hour once and no joy. An irresponsible, poorly run practice with absent doctors and receptionists who give their profession a very bad name.
