The last few times i have had a very different experience when i have called the surgery, the reception staff are able to deal with the queries effectively, the reception staff are now talking in a professional manner and the patient is not made to feel like a nuisance. Thankyou

I had an appointment with the doctor for my dad. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist which always makes what can be a worrying and daunting time easier. We didn't have to wait long to see the doctor and when we did he was just fantastic. He really took the time to review my dad's conditions/ailments. Explained everything clearly and was given a thorough consultation. Really did put my dad and me at ease. Couldn't have asked for any better.

I needed my son to be seen face to face by a doctor to see his hand, I am work and he is at school so I was quite specific as to the timing of the appointment. It was a same day appointment with good communication and response. Was seen promptly at a spoke appointment which was very convenient and met my needs in terms of timings and location. Great reception team and new phone service. Great improvement seen.

I had not required GP services for a while, as I never had medical issues that needed me to visit. I was a little apprehensive, but the warm demeanour and support from the GP made me feel relaxed and at ease. I was given excellent service which fulfilled my needs and left me feeling much better.

Rwceived a message that i have been booked by a clinician.. no time.. no date.. and booked with a clinician who i spoke to a day before who didnt have a clue what to do. Then having rang the doctors and on hold on position one, no one answered the phone for half an hour, after that the call was terminated. When I received a call 2 hours later (7.25pm) I was told it was strange my call was not answered as it wasn't busy and the said person was the one who was in the practice. The rude woman then tells me she finishes at 6.30pm.. yep I thought the same l-shes calling me at 7.25 and the surgery closes at 5.30. Has no peoples skills no does she know how to listen or even deal with the issue. She was so disrespectful and when I asked to speak to a senior I was advised yes call back on Monday. I wonder why this surgery is the worst in blackburn. My whole family have had this doctor for over 40 years and the reputation has since fallen since they brought these new staff. If you don't like to be there, don't work there. The NHS is supposed to care for their patients and not be a hindrance and cause the patient more distress. My recent experiencds have caused me great anxiety and I will be lodging a formal complaint.

It seems to be that i'm on hold for someone to answer the phone, however im always on hold for more than 20 mins. Working and trying to get hold of a receptionist is very difficult. Not only this but upon visiting the clinic, many times you see the staff having a giggle & chatting when patients are trying to get hold of them via the phone. Overall, staff are not helpful. Disappointed when this is supposed to be a NHS funded service for the public in the area.
