    I had a chest infection and was seen by dr summa she helped me out a lot and was very very helpful checked me out and i am very pleased

    This is a good practice, and the Ask a Question feature on website and the responses are great, saves me finding time to call and await phone to be answer. Just one Tiny Feedback (don't want to call it a complaint, as its not a Huge concern) but the 3/4 appointments I've had - The Self Service screens hasn't found my appointment, a couple of days ago My wife, had her first appointment and same issue. I am able to go through options, and pick Date, Initial etc - but then note saying to speak to reception, and I have to then Book in (Ive arrived) via the Original way of telling Reception. Of course this is not a major issue, but just wondering if there is a reason we cant use the Self Sign in machines. If these allowed me to sign in, it will save/allow reception to use those few seconds on another patient.

    I’ve been calling for 3 days both morning and afternoon slots for an emergency appointment, only to go through a long waiting list and be told I shouldn’t worry and that I should receive a call back from the GP that day. The day runs out with no one calling me only for me to start the process all over again the next day. This would be my third day. All calls are recorded and so there should be a record of my attempts to reach out. My health has been deteriorating and I’m a care giver to someone that’s immuno-compromised. I expressed all of this in my request form for my appointment appointment. I do not want to take the risk of going to AE potentially exposing myself to more bugs that would harm the person I’m taking care of. This practice lacks organisation and I’ve been a patient here for over 20 years at the very least if the appointments are simply not available they should say so. Rather than keeping someone waiting for days with false hope. I could have sought help through 111. Instead all I’m getting is having my time wasted and my health getting worse. What’s worse is that the receptionist do not even advice you on what other options are available to you. Like they are gating keeping that information. The first receptionists i spoke to failed to mention that I could use a walk in centre at heartlands hospital. I could have gotten at least my blood tests done before seeing the GP in the time I wasted sitting around. I’m very disappointed to say the least. That’s not even counting the fact that I was meant to have received feedback about an appointment I’ve had since May 2024 a call that they have yet to make. This practice is not fit for purpose and it’s probably sending sicker patients to an already overloaded AE when they have had chances to sort it out before a patient deteriorates.

    I contacted the surgery several times last weeks to book an appointment but was unable to speak to a receptionist ( not surprised) , waited in phone line queues for over 45 mins on both occasions. I then made an online requested for a GP call back. I had an online request asking my availability for this week to which i replied, 4 days later I have today contacted the surgery only to be told my original reply was not received and and in a nut shell my request would be in an inbox for someone to call me back maybe today/tomorrow, when asked to speak to office manager/doc no one available?? Im sorry but im disgusted, not happy at all i appreciate all surgery's are busy but cant be that busy from 8am till 11am not to even answer patients call.. ive had to take a day off to sit on a phone all morning, making three separate calls from 8am till after 11am and not even getting closer to getting my issue resolved. I could have hone to walk in centre 4 days ago the running if the surgery reception/calls awful service If it wasn't for the doctors i would have changed along time ago but i think now ill be looking to move.

    Dear Patient, I am sorry but as you have not given you name I cannot give a personalised response. The web system requests do not go into mailboxes, they go to a dashboard that is available to the whole practice so you comment regarding sitting in an inbox is incorrect. All messages receive an automated response so as you did not state you received one you reply was not received by the practice. In addition if we had received you reply and not responded it would be outstanding on that system. The practice receives thousands of call each day (8000 on a Monday being the maximum). If there were no doctors or managers available at the point of you call that would be because the were either dealing with patients or dealing with other matters, the response from the reception team would have been factually correct. the website was created so patients do not need to hold on the phone or take time off work to call us. i would suggest that if the condition is not resolved you contact the practice by whatever means as without your name I cannot do anything further in this medium to rectify the situation. kind regards omnia practice

    For the last 2 days I've tried to book an appointment, all in vain; 72 calls on the 1st day,152 calls on the second day. I then went to Omnia in person and asked to speak to a manager, manager was not on site, so I spoke to the assistant receptionist, which got me nowhere. I then spoke to a very rude and arrogant reception supervisor who told me to book on line or keep on calling , so again this afternoon after 2pm, I called 8 times straight to messages again. I forgot to mention that I was using 2 phones so add on at least another 60 calls. I have a growth the size of a pea in my nose which comes and goes, grows overnight and can last 3 days to a week then disappears, then might reappear in a week, so very hard to coordinate the arrival of the mystery pea and booking a appointment to have it looked at.

    Dear Patient Thankyou for your review I am afraid thatbhas you have not given you name I will only be able to give a generic response as I cannot check any details and therfore respond with any specific details. You will appreciate that all of of the NHS is busy and general practice is not immune from that pressure. In order to avoid the frustration of the phone system I would suggest that you use the website to request a booking as it negates the need to hold on the phone. You have given your symptoms but without your name I cannot action them, so as above I would suggest you use the website to contact us in this regard. The reception team cannot create appointments as the clinicians can only operate at a safe capacity so when they are advising you of the options available that is the correct procedure. Of you provide me with further details I could look into specifics for you. However I would suggest that if you still need clinical advise you use the website to let us know including your name Thanks in advance Omnia Practice

    Not happy with the state of my arm after her failed attempts at taking blood from me. There was more blood on me and the desk than in the test tube ended up having to go to hospital to have blood taken there.

    Dear Patient, I am sorry you feel the need to leave this review. As you have been told on numerous occasions wound dressing of this nature should be looked after by the district nursing teams because they have the relevant training in this regard and it is within their remit. The information you were given by A + E is incorrect, but that is understandable as they are an emergency service and would not be aware of the nature of comissioned services. As regards to you comments about the reception team please be aware that all calls are recorded and the reception team have been trying to give you your options which you seem unwilling to accept. I would suggest that you take the advice you are given, which gives you the correct course of action. Regards Omnia Practice

    Their never any appointments available in the practice. They make you wait for an hour waiting for them to pick up the phone. For them just to say that there ni available appointments available. Terrible practice

    Dear Patient, I am sorry you feel you have had a bad experience of the practice. You will appreciate that there is pressure on the whole of the NHS for appointments currently. There are over 300 appointments at the practice each day. In order to negate the need to hold on the phone you can request an appointment via the website which is monitored by the reception team.     An appointment was cancelled due to sickness. I sent a message via website and the staff read and understood why the appointment had to be asap and resolved quickly by booking me in ASAP to another slot. Great support from this practice from reception through to nurses and Drs. Thank you Great customer service always

    Website details states the practice is open until 8pm this evening contacted the practice at 7 pm to get a recorded message ending with this practice in now closed. All on line services are only available when the practice is open. Whats the point of that. You can't order a practice in the practice or on the phone only online which is closed when I finish work. Everytime you raise a concern the reception staff are not interested, ordered a prescription when I was requested to attend an appointment with the nurse. The prescription was not reordered. 2weeks later still trying to order online. When is someone going to realise this practice is no longer the practice is was. A complete shambles

    Dear Patient. I would suggest you contact the practice to discuss your concerns. The practice website requests are closed when the practice is closed as if that were not the case there could be clinical risks of patients believing that requests would be actioned outside core hours.
