Rated 1 star out of 5

Not even one star. Appointment was booked for 2pm to 3pm , had a private call 9.28am. My phone don't accept private calls. They didn't even told me the call will be from withheld number. What a bad service. This surgery need to be investigated and shutdown

Dear Patient Thank you for taking the time to review our practice. We value all patient feedback and are sorry to hear that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. The practice does not open on Saturdays and Sundays. The clinics on weekends are run by Primary Care Network (PCN). The practice will share your concerns with PCN to make sure this should not happen in the future. The staff has also been informed to clarify this with patient when booking weekend clinics. If you would like to discuss it further, please email your concerns at m85739.benretinopathy@nhs.net or you can book an appointment with the practice manager to discuss it personally. Thanks Pak Health Centre

  2. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Got an appointment easily for my son's immunisation. The doctors, nurses and staff everyone is very helpful. They tried their best to solve the queries of people. I have a great experience with my gp. Highly recommended 👌 👍

  3. Review titled Dreadful locum GP - Pak Medical Centre

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 February 2023

My niece has just returned home in floods of tears after seeing a locum doctor whose bedside manner clearly leaves a lot to be desired. When a patient is trying to describe painful symptoms (worth noting this is a fourth time infection that has not been dealt with effectively by this surgery to date) and suggesting ways in which you might help, they shouldn’t be confronted with an unhelpful and abrupt ‘I’ll be the judge of that’ and sent away feeling unsupported and unlistened to. And this is not the first bad experience she has had with this locum either. Although we appreciate the stress and pressure everyone is dealing with right now, sending a young woman away in tears after she has told you about the toll her condition is taking on her mental health is disappointing to say the least. Perhaps this practice should review their locums list and only source those who have a degree of empathy to go with their medical knowledge in future. I would not recommend this particular locum doctor to any patient given my niece’s experiences with her…

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to comment. We welcome both positive and negative feedback. We would really appreciate if you can make an appointment with the practice manager and discuss your concerns personally so that we can learn from your experience, implement changes and try to avoid a recurrence; this will be beneficial not just to the Practice and its staff but also a great help for the other patients. Looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Kind Regards, Pak Health Centre

  4. Review titled Rubbish

Rated 1 star out of 5

My son has a sever infection in one his thumb and it is getting worse and he's in a lot of pain, so rang the surgery for an emergency appointment on 1st Nov 2022 but was told the next available appointment is on 14th Nov. This is totally unacceptable. I took him to my local chemist to see if I could buy something over the counter but the pharmacist said he needs to be seen by the doctor and prescribe antibiotics. I explained the GP is not available and 111 is a joke.

  5. Review titled Surgery messed up

Rated 1 star out of 5

Wanted to order my repeats spoken to reception. Over the phone and personally at the surgery . Told receptionist am here so can i order for now. Said no . I mean patient have medical condition and how you bluntly said tell your pharmacy and call and order. Was told to speak to my pharmancy. Ok which I did Pharmacy was shocked why there need to call and order on behalf of patients. Any wer Pharmacy agreed and called Pharmacy called me back said the receptionist don't know what there doing . Seriously this practice need to get professional or staff that know what there doing . Orthwise will go down hill. Every time I have been most of the staff just are talking and not paying attention of what the patients are asking or saying or the phone is of the receiver. Or there put you on hold . And I have personally seen this while I have been in the surgery .
