  1. Review titled No longer a patient here…

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Luce - Posted on 11 April 2024

I went to this practice for 17 years and it just got worse and worse. I needed my Hep-B injection and was able to get this done for free due to being 17. Had my first dose all fine, booked in my second dose and was given an appointment at Parkfield and has a message to confirm this. When I arrived they told me my appointment wasn’t there and was actually at woodcross, the receptionist was rude (as she always is). Finally booked another appointment and went for this, only for the nurse to tell me I’d been given a children’s dosage of Hep-B and had to start the process again. (Messing up my dosage) Therefore I changed practice to the Northway and luckily they were helpful and sorted me out Finally. Just to point out I was also never able to book a appointment for anything I had to go to the walk in centre instead everytime, and the receptionist who’s been there for a few years has always been nothing but rude even when it was them who messed up! I don’t usually moan but this was just the final straw for me.

Dear Luce Thank you for your feedback. I apologise for the experience you have had whilst registered within Health & Beyond. As I don't have your full details unfortunately I am unable to look into the issues you have raised and I note you have now registered at another surgery. If you do wish to discuss this further please do contact me. Kind regards Rachel- Practice Manager

  2. Review titled worst g.p surgery!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Stephanie - Posted on 12 April 2023

I have been using this g.p surgery since birth! I'm now 40 & absolutely disgusted with the lack of care given here. 1hour & 30minutes I've been waiting for someone to answer the phone & this is a regular thing not a one off! I haven't got time to wait that long while I'm at work & need to get my child seen by a doctor! I was told by a so called Health Practitioner that my child has "Dry Skin" & she was scratching at my child's sore skin with her nail! I was then prescribed an Antibiotic cream for this so called dry skin!! I've now registered with a new doctors to which my child's going tomorrow to find out what it is all in her hair as her Dad suffers with psoriasis & it looks like that start of it & it's spread even more in her hair. If it comes back as psoriasis or Exzema then I'll be taking it further. Absolutely disgusted in their service, there's no care there at all & your out within minutes as they've not got the time to listen to you! Can't ever get an appointment as they're fully booked yet you walk in the surgery & the waiting rooms empty!!

  3. Review titled Worst GP Practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 December 2022

You called me today and cancelled my appointment due to staff sickness. It was very difficult to get an appointment in the first place, then you cancel without offering any resolution. I get told to ring back in the morning at 8am and start the whole process again. I always start ringing as soon as phones open and after waiting an hour to speak to someone am told there are no appointments try again the following day or go to the walk in clinic. In the last months if I have needed medical help I have had to go to the walk in clinic and wait several hours on each occasion because my own GP practice never have appointments and this is despite it now being part of a group of surgeries in the area and claiming to have have a better appointment system in place. I am not someone who normally even goes to the doctors as wherever possible I will manage my health with over the counter medication, but over the last few months I have needed help from the GP and have not been able to get it. I have been with this GP service for over 20 years and have seen it deteriorate. I will be looking to change my GP service as soon as possible.......there is no point in staying with a practice when they refuse to see you and choose always to point you towards the walk in centre.

  4. Review titled Over subscribed & poorly run

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 December 2022

We attempted to get our young son an appointment 3 days running. We spent a total of 5 hours on the phone. We finally managed to speak to a receptionist on the 3rd day. Sadly she was extremely dismissive after informing us there was no more appointments. The get out response is "call 111" All we needed was a 5 minute telephone call with a doctor/nurse so our poorly boy could be administered some antibiotics. We had to make do with over the counter purchases to get him through. Please avoid - we have begun the process of moving surgery as we do not want to risk our families health.

  5. Review titled Very competent Doctors and Traing Doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Adam - Posted on 15 September 2022

I was very happy with my experience, made me feel very comfortable and very knowledgeable, I saw seen by two female doctors one was training and the other certified, they listened to what I had to say regarding my pain in my ear and other symptoms and preformed medical checks and examinations to determine the correct treatment. I would recommend this place if you are looking for good doctors that know what they are doing and will help you. I was very happy and found the experience to be positive in every way. 😊 Thank you.
