    Found the receptionist who called to be rude. Offered me a now or never appointment for my child 20 minutes before the appointment time. When I said it wasn’t possible, they tried to blame me for not answering my phone earlier in the morning. He’s a newborn baby, I was up all night with him and happened to be getting an hour of sleep when they called the first time. You should still be able to offer me another appointment sometime in the afternoon or the next morning or failing that sometime in the week. Essentially refusing to give me an appointment if I don’t come right now is ludicrous and not in the medical interest of my child. Ended up having to rush out the house without being able to get him or myself properly ready and run with him to the surgery for fear of not getting an appointment at all. And to top it all off, he didn’t get seen until 20 minutes after the appointment time when they told me if I couldn’t be on time then they wouldn’t book me as it would have been a waste of an appointment. Have really never experienced anything like it. I’ve always had good experiences here with the doctors so a huge shame that this receptionist was my first experience of the practise as a new parent. Worrying for the future.

    My prescription was unexpectedly delayed and the wonderful receptionist was able to speak to the doctor and have one printed off immediately. I do not know why it was delayed but I cannot say how fabulous their service was in sorting this out for me.

    Thank you for a seamless experience of requesting a chest x-ray. I have been unwell with a chesty cough, was prescribed a course of antibiotics and asked to contact the practice if no better. I contacted the practice online by Clinik this morning, requesting an x-ray referral. I received a text this morning and was able to go to Purley Hospital this afternoon and have a chest x-ray. Amazing. Thank you very much.

    GP treated me with respect and was courteous, good listener, helpful and understanding. Explained the medicines I have been prescribed and their needs. I was happy and satisfied. Thanks GP.

    The staff is welcoming and the doctors are approachable. They showed kindness with good thorough knowledge which made me feel comfortable. Although awaiting a call from GP to get prescription for my high blood pressure. Been to A&E and awaiting blood test results as they confirmed it will be sent to GP.

    I received my appointment via the practice website within approx 10 mins of requesting it. I had not seen this doctor before but she was extremely helpful and listened to me.

    Recently I have left a negative review for Parkside Group Practice regarding appointments date but I would like to amend it to a good one , as recently I have had the practice support and good communication about my situation and about my concerns. Receptionist was amazing and sorted out all for me !!!

    I have requested an appointment for my skin problems and the practice offered me one within almost two months!!!! This is absolutely incredible and very disappointing. The reason given was that Easter break brought delays on appointments.

    The worst ever service I have experienced. On the reception they do not know anything. Two of the receptionists are very rude. They got lost our prescription charge exemption form. That one we were waiting for 10 days just to be signed and have not received it at all because they did not find the form and did not even know anything about it. At the end I had to ask for a second form which we are still waiting to be signed. I brought to them the first form they got lost on the 17th of February. It is 12th of March now and we still do not have any form. For every single service I have to go to the practice several times ,have to ask the same things again and again, and every time they do not know why I am there. My husband was waiting for his fit note 5 days. Every day I had to go or to call them asking about it and every time they said us that the fit note was sent to his email, but it was not. At the end we requested a paper fit note and went to collect it personally. We are extremely disappointed with their service.

Prescription charge exemption forms are sent directly from the practice to the Prescription Charge authority, rather than back to the patient.     Personally I do not like seeing a different GP every time. In fact I havent seen my designated GP for a few years. Of late The remaining staff, that is receptionists, nurses and others have been outstanding, patient and a pleasure to talk to. I requested some emails for reports and they were received almost instantly with follow up phone calls if required. I feel the surgery went through a bad patch, not all their fault I would add, but now all seems back to their old selves. I hope it continues, to make seeing all the staff a pleasure, but....please let me see My Doctor !! (if possible).
