I’ll start by saying the reception staff I spoke to were very helpful. My daughter was having a rough time with her asthma, I wasn’t offered an appointment for them to see her. Was told I was being passed yo the pharmacist team, but didn’t receive a phone call from them. Phone system doesn’t work. Medical professionals I spoke with, I felt had a bad attitude. Weren’t able to help me and I feel let down.

I had a blood pressure reading sent to my Drs from the chemist. The next day I received a call from the Dr telling me I needed tablets and they would be ready to pick up the same day! Amazing.

All the staff at Patford House have been warm and welcoming during several recent visits. Booking an appointment was straightforward and I received excellent and attentive care when speaking to the nurses and doctor who were able to address all my needs. A very well run clinic that I recommend to all.

I sent one message via Patch's on Monday asking for an appointment that week as I was on annual leave. Within an hour I had been sent an appointment for Friday face to face with a GP.

Call was echoey , understand reason for new meds but to be told pure risk was high but blood ok possibly a easier way to explain reason for starting meds.

The Pharmacist who phoned me was was rude and sounded patronising. He rushed his introduction of who he was and all I heard was Patford House. I felt rushed through the phone call and didn't feel I fully explained myself. To be told how I should be eating a balanced diet when I had explained it was over indulgence over Christmas and the occurrences after that had triggered the reflux. Having not heard properly to begin with that he wasn't actually a doctor he proceeded to rush my next questions to which I wouldn't have asked had I had known he was just a pharmacist. I then just told me the prescription was being sent to the chemist and put the phone down with no goodbye or ending. Usually I don't complain and I am happy with the level of service I have received but not on the occasion. I actually said to my wife " he just put the phone down on me!" Which we thought was rude!

Appointment was well signposted by emails regarding date, am/pm, then time. I was phoned within a few minutes of this time. Very thorough review of symptoms, then family history etc. and then possible outcomes. Given face to face appointment to double check in person before looking at medication. A further date given to pick up a test kit from surgery. Very satisfied.
