    Having been a registered patient of Pathfields, mainly at my own sugery Armada Surgery and being registered online using tpp patient online service, I have noticed that records are not being maintained. For example, I went for a blood test last Thursday 25 July 2024. Today, 29 July 2024, I received a text concerning my blood test. So I logged into the online service where it clearly states "View Test Results" and oh to my surprise there are no records. I have had this before. There is no excuse and I am considering registering a complaint to the Data Protection Registrar

    Dear Mr Bennett, We are sorry to hear you have been having trouble viewing blood test results on the NHS app. Blood results cannot be viewed by the patients until a clinician has viewed, actioned and commented on the result. This is standard practice for all results. I do apologise that this has caused some confusion or if you feel that we are keeping results from you, I can assure you this is not the case. Kind regards.     Both myself and my fiance trynot use our surgery often g8ven the times we live in and nhs shortages across all areas but had reason to do so for my partner yesterday and today ..8verall if you follow instructions their prompt reply and professional approach is fantastic .You guys are the best thankyou for everything you do for us .

    Had to go up doctors last week as asda couldn't fulfill all my prescription the doctors sent me bar code still couldn't get it so went up again today 19/03/24 to get another one I told them I needed sabutamol nebuliser liquid 3 times and they still sent me code for imapropium nebulizer liquid that I didn't need so got to go up again they need to check what there doing instead of talking to each other and not listening

    Was called down saw the most wonderful dr. Not seen before there but goodness she was thorough spending around 45 minutes with me.ringing the hospital for appointment the very next morning. I feel she was so dedicated to helping listened etc. l certainly would like her as my regular one. The receptionists are really nice aswell. All round it was a good experience.

    Once again I have been unable to make a routine appointment. I have been trying to make this appointment for 8 weeks now. econsult was again cut off by 8.09 which was the first chance of the day I had to get to a pc. 30th in queue when phoned them (after 5 mins of answer phone message and button pushing) then line went dead while in queue. Awful service.

    The doctor was amazing at listening to my concerns about my child and took the time to investigate and make a plan for the next steps. Listened, understanding and put patients first over time factors. Highly reccomend!

    Daughter rang l just dont, concerned a dr rung me straight away and made a very quick appointment. Went down and a lovely young doctor sorted me and see him in 2 weeks. Was very kind, it was quite serious but couldnt have been dealt with any quicker or better.very understanding

    I contacted the surgery by phone and instead of waiting in the queue I opted to use the call back when I got to my position which was so much better and the receptionist was brilliant and I got to go and see the dr the same morning and his level of care and his way he dealt with my issue was amazing so well done Mudgeway for a trouble free experience

    Phoned by practice but on answering the call could not hear anyone this was the case on afew calls was not expecting a call so tryed to see if my phone was having a problem which it wasent so dialed the number to be in contact with surgery to be put in a queue went down said queue after 30mins to be 1 in queue only to wait another 45mins and not get an answer soon relised this phone was not being answered this is not the first time this has occured

    This practice group has very serious problems with its communications - both within the practice group and with its patients directly. It frequently, and somewhat conveniently, loses communications, claims to have never received them, delays them, and continues to do the bare minimum to remedy this – meaning as the practice becomes busier issues can only worsen. Accessibility to the practice, whether in person or online is poor, and it's sheer good fortune, rather than by design, whether you're able to communicate with someone who will action something, or whether you are going to offered up a flurry of excuses to defend, so uphold, its poor practice. Furthermore as the practice group are keen exponents of Parkinson's Law - it leads to patients being forced to have to repeatedly check whether the practice has actually received communications, no matter acted upon them. It’s, therefore, little wonder patients are left with the feeling the practice is being run solely for the convenience of the staff, rather than to provide a service for those they are contracted to provide it for - patients. It's not rocket science to divert energies from excusing poor service into remedying the causes of it. Yet the reluctance of this practice group to even realise the folly of their current actions, and the advantages to all, staff included, in improving its communications and the way it works leaves its patients despairing at having to repeatedly endure an obstacle course just to get a bare modicum of service that others take for granted.
