I had to have emergency surgery in September 2024 which has taken six months to fully recover from. The road to recovery involved daily visits to the HCA and Nurse (it is a shame this review does not allow me to name them personally but I understand why) for the first couple of months, with visits every other day thereafter. Recovery was not straightforward but, throughout, they both looked after me and went above and beyond to make sure I was moving forwards. It was very difficult at times but their dedication and warmth never faltered. They are an absolute credit to their profession and this GP surgery. I know that they genuinely cared about my recovery and did all they could for me. Saying thank you doesn’t feel as though it can ever be enough to acknowledge my appreciation to them or recognise their efforts. I could not praise them highly enough. Thank you so much both! I’m sorry about all of my jokes.

I have recently had two appointments with the Advance Nurse Practitioner. The questions I was asked were relevant and a thorough review was conducted. I was treated in a relaxed, professional manner at all times. Thank you.

There were no female doctors today and the Nurse Practitioner was booked up, but one of the reception team remembered I needed an appointment and called me to squeeze me in when a cancellation occurred. I really appreciated her remembering me and following up to make sure I was seen today. The Nurse Practitioner was great, really kind and thorough and I feel very well taken care of today. Doctors receptionists get a bit of a bad rap but to be honest I have had a good experience with every member of the reception team and they are always very kind and helpful. Thank you to the team for your efforts.

I had an appointment today with the Advanced Nurse Practitioner for my son’s persistent cough and earache. From the moment we stepped into her room, she made myself and my son feel very welcome and comfortable. She did a thorough examination for my son, all whilst making him laugh and feel very safe. She explained everything very well and was very happy to answer my questions. My son walked out the room happy as did I and it’s fair to say that she is amazing with children.

Both my husband and I have had to visit the surgery several times over recent months. We’d like to thank both the ANP and PN for their care and treatment of us both.

The ANP gave me amazing reassurance and sorted out some antibiotics that the previous doctor brushed aside stating it was probably just a cold. 5* service

Invited for a free NHS Health Check after having a blood test and was both surprised and very pleased by the thoroughness of the checks with no punches pulled in a detailed discussion about my test readings, lifestyle and how to ensure I stay in the best of health.

My daughter came to see the new on call Dr and he was one of the nicest doctors we've seen. My daughter is only 5 and he was so good with her, polite, funny but professional made my daughter feel very comfortable.

I attended the surgery for my first ever flu vac with fear and trepidation! The nurse was just so kind, calm and very reassuring. She didn't coerce me in any way. She was patient and understanding. I didn't feel a thing. A real, what I would call, old school nurse. :) :) :) 💐

I contacted the practice regarding the chronic nasal congestion that I have been suffering from for the past 9 months. Thus far it has been throughly investigated and possible remedies explained in great detail. Always willing to investigate and work through any concerns I may have.
