    Back in May I had an NHS Health Check at the surgery as I'm now nearly 60. The nurse was lovely and the information was presented in a clear and informative way. This meant that I could take action to improve my health going forward. I'm very pleased that I attended.

    You will never get an appointment , they boast on the voicemail of having 22,000 patients but they're clearly oversubscribed and you end up using 111. Quite often you will be cut off when trying to contact as well

    Dear Patient We are sorry to hear you have struggled to get an appointment. Whilst the majority of our appointments are booked on the day, we do have a small number of pre-bookable appointments which get released each day and we do realise these get booked up fast. We are aware of the huge demand that our colleagues locally are also facing. Both locally and nationally clinicians are choosing to leave the profession because of the pressure that we are all under. We are in the process of seeing how we can improve our appointment system to make it more efficient and we value the feedback we receive. Thank you for your comments.

    I moved to this practice after years of being let down at my previous surgery. The registration was easy and prompt. I needed help with my repeat prescriptions and this was arranged promptly also. I then needed an appointment for a health concern and was seen the same day. During the appointment for the first time in many years I felt my overall health mattered and not only was my initial health concern dealt with but also an ongoing issue I have had for 40 years. Also further advice was offered in regards to future health. I have also been offered a specialist follow up and a text to confirm this has been booked. I feel seen by a doctor for the first time in a long time. Thank you Poplar Grove for such a welcome. Receptionist was also very friendly. Very happy with the service I've received.

    The nurse I saw today for blood tests was the most caring and compassionate nurse I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with. She really invested in me as a person as well as a patient. Thank you for your warmth and professionalism! :)

    I am trying to get an appointment for the last one week and always asked to call at 8 am. When I do that the automated message says I cannot be connected. I have a new lump in my neck and scared of cancer. The person whom I spoke had no idea or insight that this is important. I also asked if they can pass on the message to my GP but they refused to do so. Asked me to call 111. This is something not for 111. My issue needs a 2 week wait appointment as I am worried about cancer, why should I waste a precious 111 service. Anyways highly disappointed in their service.
