Review titled Disappointed
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 March 2025
had horrible experience with one of the doctors at Iwade medical centre.I had yesterday 10/03/25 an appointment with her to discuss my blood test and the health issues. After short talk and stаring at the computer she said that my issue are not serious, however, at the end she told me in a rude manner that she saw “so many like me just dropped dead”. Unacceptable comment by doctor.

Review titled Messed-up staff, horrible service
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 March 2025
I called today on 25 Mar and received a call-back at 8:28 am. I have been experiencing some serious difficulties, which could be life-threatening to me. This past week has been terrifying for me. I have been calling this GP quite a few times for the past week, and today, when I called for follow-up (which I was asked to do yesterday). I was just explaining how the appointment I received for the one in Chatham (at least 2 buses-48 mins) was far off and asking if I could get an appointment near my home. I was asking for this option as I don't drive. She was being very offensive and making such remarks, making me feel so horrible and uncomfortable. Being a patient is hard, especially when you have to wait so long to get an appointment. The mental trauma and pain this incident has caused is immense. How can people be trained to treat others with sympathy and be so disrespectful? If you cannot treat people with respect and show a bare minimum level of decency, maybe you shouldn't be doing this job. I am not sure if this review would be taken into much consideration, but I still thought I'd share my horrifying experience.

Review titled Very poor service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ahmed M Khan - Posted on 02 December 2024
I tried to book an appointment and was advised it has to be done online via Anima. I advised I am not computer literate and was advised to call back tomorrow before 10am. The receptionist set me up but entered a fictitious email address. The system cannot verify me and keep sending verification details to the incorrect email Address. After several telephone calls, I spoke to a receptionist who allocated an appointment and texted me the details. However, when I attended the Doctor advised she can only see me for 1 issue and not the 2 I was booked for. The Doctor was very good indeed and advised she will book the appointment for me after the consultation. I went with the Doctor and we were told by the receptionist that the system was down and that if I came later the appointment will be booked. The brilliant GP gave me her name saying ‘any problems tell the receptionist. A day later, I went to the surgery to book an appointment only to be told by a ‘jobsworth’ reception that I can only book online. I advised her to have a word with Dr. ???????, she not in and you can only book online, replied the rude and ‘I don’t care’ receptionist. I asked for her name and she refused. The Doctor herself was brilliant and I fully understand the pressures the GP’s are under. However, I find it unacceptable that the receptionist NHS employs are not competent and have little regard for patient needs and are rude and abrasive. I don’t think I will be able to book another appointment, thanks to the incompetent Receptionist who set me up with a fictitious email address. It is a shame that NHS is funding surgeries who refuse to address the patient’s needs and employ rude and disrespectful receptionist. I am very disappointed and am now seeking to change my GP’s surgery and am even considering Private Medicial .

Review titled Sms text alerting
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Martin Spakovskis - Posted on 29 November 2024
This is not the first time this happens but I received an sms text on 26th November and 28th November informing me of a GP telephone appointment at 09:40 on 29th November +/- 1hr. Its now 11:32 on 29th November and no call so far today. What kind of service is this? Am I seriously expected to wait with baited breath until the GP keeps their word?

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry that you experienced a delay in the GP contacting you. Unfortunately there are often unforeseen circumstances that require the GPs attention, and on occasion, routine phone call appointments may be delayed in order to accommodate such priorities. I am happy to see that your consultation was completed later that day but I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the wait. Please do not hesitate to contact the practice if you would like to discuss this further with a manager.

Review titled Not supportive
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Cindy - Posted on 30 September 2024
My daughter has been diagnosed with scoliosis and is waiting to be seen by surgeons in London, not ideal but waiting is just how it is however she is developing other symptoms now which are affecting her daily life and self-esteem only being 14. I've completed a very detailed form online to get an appointment for her to see if her symptoms can be managed, her stomach feels crushed so not hungry hardly eating, constant headaches and feeling light headed and sick, the response was an email to say someone would contact me to arrange an appointment for her but 4 days later I'm still waiting so ring and ask the question as mu daughter is now absent from school as a result to be told wait for admin to ring you, 6 words that's all she said couldn't be bothered in the slightest with me. We haven't had any support have no idea what we're dealing with unless you count doctor google which doctors always tell you not to do, so where do you go when your made to feel like an inconvenience have an unwell child who's scared and doesn't know what's coming who will also be in trouble at school because of time off. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement, let down and disappointed, I'm looking at my daughter telling her she needs to trust these doctors whilst she's thinking they can't actually be bothered with her.

Review titled Amazing!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anjali - Posted on 24 May 2024
Despite initial apprehensions stemming from online reviews, my experience with Sunlight Center in Medway has been surprisingly positive. When I fell ill, I hesitated to reach out to the clinic due to the feedback I had read. However, I found a convenient solution through the Anima app, which facilitated communication with the team. I have got immediate response every time and was take care very well. Moreover, my interactions with them over the phone were pleasant and reassuring. It became evident to me that the negative reviews might have been influenced by individual circumstances, as my own experience highlighted the team's dedication to providing thorough care. While seeking prompt assistance during illness is natural, I discovered that the team at Sunlight Center truly prioritizes patient well-being and delivers proper care. Thanks a lot for the great support.

Review titled Extremely poor experience
Rated 1 star out of 5

Phoned for an appointment to see/speak to a GP. Phone rang constantly for 15 mins, no answer. Rang again to find I was 4th in queue. No appointments left, what are my symptoms? Wayfield pharmacy will contact me. 15.50 I rang PPmed centre again as no pharmacy had called. Receptionist told me they would ring. Did they? Of course not!! The manager was not available to speak to and no direct number to reach her either. How can the Receptionist decide whether I do/do not need to see/speak to a GP? Does she know my past medical history, or what my symptoms could indicate the problem is? The 'anima' app is time consuming and confusing and so is the 'livi'app. Having to type in your past med history and all your medications is a nightmare, especially if you have many conditions and many meds. Technology is not always a good thing and could not replace person to person contact.
