    How can it be that I cannot send a message to my doctor past 4pm on a Friday? Has anyone thought of the possibility of allowing this? doctors don't need to reply instantly, but they can see it when they get back to their seat on Monday? The website is not very useful. For example, I can't find a simple way of asking for my test results. First I got a SMS saying my liver markers were high, then another one sending my blood test results were all fine. Can I please just see the report with a clear message from my doctor? Thank you

    I contact the practice regularly on behalf of my 97 year old mother and I have always found all the staff very helpful. My mother receives home visits from paramedics and doctors when needed and regular phone calls to check how she is. I am also kept informed, with her permission, which is very helpful. I can’t say enough how grateful we are.

    Recently I have been seen by Dr Dutton, she has listened to me as a patient and a person, Dr Dutton has arranged tests that I needed and has followed them up as she promised, since being treated at the practice recently I feel as if they care about my health and I’m being well looked after, Today Dr Dutton called me to discuss some recent test results, was very caring with telephone manner, when I spoke to her of a health concern she immediately made an appointment for me to see medical person who was qualified to see and treat me for the condition. I would like to say thank you to all practice staff and a special big thank you to Dr Dutton

  4. Review titled Avoid - particularly if your child has a disability

    We had been trying to get my son, who has a disablity, an appointment for months. This proved futile, even with a local NHS team intervening on our behalf. We have had to register with another surgery, and am hoping they will be professional, aware of their contractual obligations, and Equalities legislation, unlike this awful practice. Steer clear!

    I popped in today to follow up on some test results, I have to say that the receptionist there was so kind and patient, not just with me, I also observed how she was with others too, and midst juggling a number of people approaching her at the same time and being vigilant with some unexpected activity further up the street, clearly focused on safety and wellbeing throughout. Really appreciated her kindness and help. Many thanks

    I was not able to efficiently cancel an appointment today - having to go via a 20 min telephone queue - please add an ability to cancel appointments to your website / update the faq.

    The online appointment service is excellent. I have used it on several occasions and each time have received speedy responses and early appointments. It enables me to explain in a clear way my health issues and takes pressure off the counter staff.

    I registered myself and my newborn with this practice because it was close to my house. The day before she turned 8 weeks old, and after chasing for weeks to get her 8 week check booked in (all via annoying form submissions as you’re unable to speak to a human at this surgery), I was issued a text message confirming an appointment an hour away from our house. After eventually getting a call back from the person who booked this, they said I was unable to change this appointment to the surgery opposite our house because they were fully booked. Why booking our 8 week appt was left to the absolute last minute is beyond me. Such an unnecessarily frustrating process.

    Hello Emily We're sorry to hear about your frustrating experience trying to book your new born in for an appointment. This is not typical of the service offered by Nexus Health Group and we would be grateful if you could get in touch with us so we can explore what happened in this case. You say you cannot speak to a person at our surgeries but our sites are open from 8am - 6:30pm if you wish to speak to reception in person, or our patient access hub on the telephone. The majority of our patients do access our services via our online form, however if a patient does not wish to, or cannot use the form our staff will complete it on your behalf. Our patients can be seen at any Nexus Health Group site in North Southwark, but this is a choice for the patient to make. If you prefer to be seen at your registered practice, that option should be available to you.
