    Consultants reports sent on without any request from me. Doctors operate on first name terms. Referrals always done speedily.

    Absolutely amazing, unhurried explanation of recent blood test results. What numbers mean and what is normal. Identification of what referrals need to be made based on the results and submitted whilst in the consultation room. Left the surgery after a 40 min consultation totally reassured and cared for by one of the most knowledgeable GPs i have encountered. So patient (excuse the pun), a good listener with a calming influence. Never feel hurried by him. Such an absolutely, amazing, natural asset to the NHS and the practice.

    Call back from GP timed as anticipated from text received following my email to medical Practice. GP gave very helpful informative advice. I was then able to proceed with a medication plan after making further arrangements as suggested.

We are pleased to see you had a good experience with the e-Consult option available to patients. e-Consult is setup to allow patients to request non urgent appointments or admin related follow ups; for example sick note requests, medication issues etc. This does save clinician time for patients who require more immediate care, however our clinicians will always follow up the e-Consults in the appropriate time.     I feel so fortunate at the age of 82 to receive such wonderful attention and treatment from the doctors and nurses at our fabulous new modern practice. The doctor who treated me today on a skin problem has obviously trained in this area of medicine to be so efficient. My thanks go out to these hard working men and women who devote such long hours looking after us all. Once again “thank you”

    Initially, using the NHS app to book a GP appointment was confusing as only blood test appointments were shown, when I checked the next day I was able to book a telephone call with a GP, at a time which was very convenient. The call was on-time and I was able to visit the surgery within 2hrs. Reception booked me in and I was told where to wait for the doctor. Appointment with the doctor was very thorough and also involved looking at my current health and also to rectify any missing information. I made further appointments with Reception and left after 20 mins. I'd say that this was a very positive experience, many thanks to all.

    Contacting the practice has become a Kafka-esque pursuit of the unattainable. The first stage is to listen yet again to a long message about not being abusive to the staff. Its effect is to put one on edge before eventually, having listened to several ill-described options, being put through to a person. If you're lucky. Some of the options just lead to being told to 'submit an e-consult form' and the line going dead. Suggesting to patients, many of whom are elderly, that they should use email is clearly discriminatory; and many others will not, because of the risk to data confidentiality, use such means for medical matters. When last I phoned seeking an appointment, it took eleven minutes to get to the stage where the receptionist acceded to my request – but only to the extent of saying that she would arrange for a doctor to phone me back at a later unspecified time. When that call came, the doctor, within seconds, said that I must visit the practice. I did, later that day. Which was just why I had phoned an hour before. Why cannot the practice accept that patients are themselves able to reach this conclusion, thus deterring all but the most persistent from getting either. The system as it is operating is not only discriminatory, but has become an obstruction to proper health care. It is utterly producer-oriented, and takes little account of users' needs. It urgently requires change, involving users in the design of processes which meet their needs as well as minimising unnecessary work. The last straw is that one can only leave feedback by providing an email address – back round the loop. I am providing an email address, but for this single purpose, and I expressly withhold permission for it being retained by the practice for any other puprose.
