Rated 1 star out of 5

The worst service ever trying to get through on the phone is a joke. To get a repeat prescription is the sane s joke the receptionists are rude and don't do their job properly. Am absolute joke.

  2. Review titled Poor Approach

Rated 1 star out of 5

Doctors refused to see me a number of times over an on going issue. Ended up being admitted from the walk in centre to hospital and being treated there. How can it be acceptable not to see patients who clearly need treatment.

  4. Review titled Find another gp surgery.

Rated 1 star out of 5

Firstly took 240 engaged calls to get through to make an appointment to see a doctor, the second time I had call 5 days later, 384 engaged calls before I got through, then 27 minute wait in the call queue before answering, then to be told repeat prescription would have to be reviewed even though the Doctor instructed me to call and request more antibiotics if they were working. So now I have to hope the infection does not return while someone other than the doctor decides if i am worthy of another coarse of tablets. Over an hour and a half on the phone for absolutely nothing. I fear for the NHS!

  5. Review titled Getting an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

Forget trying to get an appointment here....I've called for the last 3 days and when I finally get through after over an hour and 30 plus calls, there are no appointments left and I can't book in advance. Truly terrible....

  6. Review titled Can never get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have rung twice to get an appointment. Both times after holding for over 5 minutes, I'm told that all appointments have gone for today. So I ask well can I book one for another day? No, you have to ring at 8am on the day. there's no other way. I'm worried about a lump and feel quite distressed about this.

I am sorry that you have called twice and found it difficult to get an appointment. Please call the Practice and explain your symptoms in depth to the receptionist. We understand that this is sometimes difficult but it really helps our reception and clinical staff. We have both routine and urgent appointments available every day. The routine appointments do tend to fill up earlier in the day. If you wish, on this occasion, please ask to speak to Philippa and tell reception that I am expecting your call. Unfortunately as you have left an anonymous review I am unable to contact you directly. Please note that our phonelines are shut between 1 and 2. Thank you

  7. Review titled No appointment system

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 February 2023

I’m afraid every time I try to contact this GP I am left very frustrated. The phone system can only allow 5 calls waiting, so when trying to call in the morning to get an appointment you can’t even get through. When you finally get through you are told there are no appointments and to call back the next day. I am sure everyone who finally gets through is left frustrated after trying for so long…no wonder the receptionists are always so rude because they are probably dealing with everyone’s frustrations. The appointment system does not make sense…you can’t book an appointment in advance and it’s impossible to see a doctor face to face. Have no time frame when the doctor will call, so have to put your life on hold whilst waiting all day for your call back. Very difficult. Some of the doctors are lovely and have really helped, but it is very difficult when you can’t get a face to face appointment. It’s just not good enough and doesn’t make any sense. Clearly all of the reviews here should send a message to sort out this failing system? Covid is no longer an excuse I’m afraid. No wonder hospitals are at their limit when GPS such as this are not working for their patients. Sort it out Priory!

  8. Review titled Shambolic service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Monomita - Posted on 27 January 2023

So disgusting service! The receptionists are so rude and unhelpful that it is beyond tolerance. It seems they are paid just to advise 'call between 8 to 9 tomorrow morning, fully booked today'. No matter how many times I call between 8 to 9am, call gets disconnected, I can never get hold of them. What a service to patients! I needed urgent medical care, I tried to get hold of them for weeks before my situation got worst, then I called 111 and luckily got an emergency appointment. Extremely unhelpful receptionist in Priory surgery, they need to be replaced immediately. They are supposed to serve patients but they are absolutely opposite. There is no email ID, message service to contact them other than phone and they are not of any help over phone. Is it the service we are paying a fortune per month as NI? If asked, they always complain about shortage of staff. My point is everywhere it is the same, but what are they doing as their responsibility? Highly and highly disappointed.

  9. Review titled Very helpful practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

A member of staff went out of her way to sort out a problem which I had been unable to resolve and got back to me with the result very quickly in a professional manner.

  10. Review titled Totally useless

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 November 2022

They just sit-down there doing absolutely nothing * no routine appointment * No one even speak to you if you call after 9 in morning all they said run out of appointment. * They will take any opportunities to avoid you to see you or divert you to alternative service like A&E or emergency GP or urgent treatment center * When you call at bang on time they said doctors will call back!! good luck with that.
