  1. Review titled Awful place

Rated 1 star out of 5

by karen smith - Posted on 08 October 2024

My son who is autistic needed urgent meds today. I have rung this practice four times now. His social worker sent an urgent email telling them he needs an urgent appointment today. I have ring and told them that i also work for the Nhs at Darent Valley as a receptionist and my days off are min and tues can u have the appointment t today tues. What do they do book it for Thurs ! when i’m working. I have to go with my son. The reception staff are extremely rude and have no caring attitude at all. My son’s social worker coined believe the attitude of the staff! I am a receptionist in the radiology at Darent Valley if i treated patients the way Reach health care do i would be sacked! I can’t believe their awful attitude towards patients!

It’s wonderful to know they were able to assist you during what must have been a challenging time. I hope the care you received, including your jab, brings some relief and helps in your recovery. Your feedback will be passed on to the team, and especially to the volunteer, who will be delighted to hear that their efforts made such a positive difference. 4. Review titled Avoid!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the practice's management and service. My mother and I encountered significant difficulties in securing an appointment for several weeks. I called, I attended the reception and I was online at 8 am trying to fill online form. I am dyslexic but the practice doesn't care and have never helped me. I have struggled to get a review of something simple as a knee pain. Despite my efforts, my concerns remained unresolved. It appears that the practice prioritizes referrals to 111 rather than providing direct medical care. While the flu jab service is commendable, it does not compensate for the overall shortcomings. I find it concerning that the practice continues to operate and accept new patients despite its evident deficiencies. I strongly recommend that individuals seeking reliable medical care consider registering with an alternative practice..

  7. Review titled awful practice can never get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

to whom this may concern. I have tried every day this week to complete an anima at between 8.02 to 8.05 to be told that you are full to capacity and that there are no appointments available. I have called every day since Monday and held on the line to either be cut off or told that there are no appointments and they can't help me.  I have been feeling unwell for nearly a week now and I am unsteady on my feet, I thought it was my blood pressure as it's high but I am starting to wonder if it is another issue. All I want to do is see a doctor and be assessed.  There seems to be a catalogue of excuses why I can't see a GP from them being busy and oversubscribed to doctors calling in sick. This is not good paitent care at all and to be told that I should go to A&E when I can't walk in a straight line is not a  great solution. Alough some of your receptionist are understand of the issues and try to be helpful they are limited to what they can do. There are also receptionist that just couldn't care less and don't want to help at all and are really rude.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve had in accessing care and the impact this has had on your health and wellbeing. We are continuously reviewing practice processes to ensure we can provide the best possible care to our patients and access has and will always remain a priority for us. In a case where we are at our daily capacity we would encourage visit a local pharmacy or consider accessing support through NHS 111, who can provide advice and direct you to appropriate care. For future reference, appointments can also be requested via Anima at 8am, but we understand how challenging this can be during peak times. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will share your concerns with the team. If you would like to contact us to discuss this further please email us at kmicb.feedback.reachhealthcare@nhs.net Many thanks, Reach Healthcare
