Whilst we have our concerns and negative feedback about the Medical Practices we also have to be fair in giving praise. Today I filled out the Klinic online forms which I will admit does take time and maybe not as good as having a face to face with the Doctors but it worked well and within an hour I had a call from the Doctor who discussed my issue and was warm in his approach and understanding. A prescription was sent straight across to my Pharmacy and the whole process from filling in the form to collecting the tablets was less than 3 hours. So I can only say excellent service in this instance and thank you. Hopefully a sign of positive things to come going forward

On 21 Dec 2023 I rang to try & sort out a prescription that was sent to a Pharmacy in Liverpool by mistake. The operator I spoke to said there was nothing that could be done so I asked for a consultation appoinmtent with a Doctor as at the time I didn't have access to the internet. The operator told me she couldn't do that, but after reminding her that she can fill the online form out if the patient doesn't have internet access she reluctanly did. I didn't expect the to speak with a Doctor that day & she informed me it would be 2/3 days. I have heard nothing because it was Christmas I expected to wait longer & after Christmas have sent a couple of emails enquiring about this consultation appoinment. These emails have not been responded to & it has now been 22 days I have been waiting for this appoinment. My condition hasn't improved & if dealt with in a timely manner I expect would have clear up by now. I would appreciate it if somone would confirm if this appoinment is still active & a time frame that I would be talking to a Doctor.

Thank you for this feedback and apologies for the delay - although this was sent in anonymously we have reviewed and investigated internally, identified individuals and realized that there were some process misunderstandings in terms of prioritization which we have explained. Not everybody is efficient on computers, There is no reason we cant go into the surgery and book an appointment, its very discriminatory ! to expect to answer 100s of questions on the klinik form which goes on an on gets very monotonous, Shame how you refuse to cater for normal people Ringing up is very dodgy has to the receptionists do love cutting calls after you been hanging on for 45/60 minutes . Despite the phone in front of them they like winding you up by ignoring calls from my experience There are receptionists that need desperate training in customer an give the good 1s a bad name

Thanks for this and sorry for the inconvenience. i think there is a misunderstanding - of course you can go in to make an appointment as the receptionist will complete the Klinik form on your behalf. We use Klinik to ascertain the request for appointments and this is to help ensure that you get the right service in the appropriate time-frame. We have many practitioners who may be best suited to your need and hence more efficient for you eg if you need a joint injection, not all doctors do this and hence a triage via Klinik will mean you see the right doctor who will do this. If you can access Klinik yourself, there are only a few questions, and you can say "not applicable" to move onto the next one. These Klinik forms are reviewed by a doctor very quickly and actions taken as appropriate to the enquiry. The NHS has told us that we HAVE to use internet phones and very occasionally (not so recently i might add) they do drop off unfortunately. You can also, with out phone provider, use a call back facility which is in place when you are waiting some time and we will call you back. So hopefully this explains that we are trying to help our patients as much as we can. There is an ongoing training programme for all staff/receptionists and if you have had an issue then do please let us know personally at the practice and we can look into which staff member needs further training. From phone call to practice to being called by a doctor in less than 1 hour, the doctor had a caring attitude and listened and understood my problem.

Telephone consultations can be just as useful as face-to-face consultations in some circumstances, as many patients don't need to be seen. Glad you got the serviced you needed and many best wishes.

I used the on-line service. Received a F2F appointment for the next day. The GP was thorough and reassured me over a worry I had. I felt listened to and not rushed. I was also sent useful information to help me manage my conditions. Plus uegent referal for further investigation. I have used the on-line service in the past and have always found the response timely. Cannot fault the service and attention I received. Highly recommend this practice and cannot thank and praise the GP I saw enough.

I called the surgery at 3.07pm to make an appointment as the online service was unavailable. I was number one in the queue. The friendly receptionist said she could complete the online form on my behalf and did so. I received a call back within five minutes of ending the conversation offering me an appointment the same day at 4.05pm. I saw a Doctor who was extremely lovely. An amazing service all round, could not have asked for any better. Thank you.

Called to make an appointment and used ring back service. Was called by receptionist within 5 minutes who then arranged for a phone consultation with doctor. Was called by doctor 10 minutes later. So the whole process took less than 30 mins - excellent

Thank you for this. You have clearly benefitted by our new phone service - our aim was to answer quickly without delay and if there was a chance of a delay then we have employed a phone-back facility within the line. We are also using our online consultation tool, also used by the receptionist which means that that consultation enquiry goes straight to a doctor who will be responding in a timely way - as per your experience. Met with welcoming energy and respect by both the kind receptionist and the GP that I saw. I felt heard, understood and that my needs were met. I was given clear information and my expectations were met. I feel grateful that the surgery was open on a Saturday and valued the time I was given. Thank you.
