    I don’t normally have a compliant, but to be left on hold for an hour is unacceptable. I started the call and there were 5 callers ahead of me. This came down to no callers ahead of me and I was then left on hold. What is your policy?

    I am sorry to hear about the problem with the telephone and you being kept on hold for so long. If you would like to get in touch with us directly then we can take more details about the time of the call and get this investigated with our telecoms company. My apologies once again.

    I had been ringing since 8.30 this morning didn’t get through till 11.00 waited on hold for 1 hr 10 minutes only then to be told your busy and line cut off I don’t find this acceptable do you?

    I am so sorry to hear about your wait on the telephone yesterday , despite it being the day after bank holiday when we are always very busy, I can't see why you would have been on hold for so long. I have asked my colleague to give you a call about this and to contact the telephone company to see if we can ascertain what happened. My apologies once again.

    I had an appointment for a suspected heart condition. I was delayed to my appointment owing to a traffic incident as I was driving from Bournemouth, where I had been staying with a family member in need. I called reception 30 minutes in advance of my appointment to apologise that I anticipated being 10 minutes late and to ask for assistance. The person at reception expressed a complete lack of empathy, disregard for my circumstances and unwillingness to do anything to assist, thereby further exasperating my stress-induced heart condition. For fear of missing my urgent appointment, I felt compelled to drive as fast as possible and managed to reach the surgery only 5 minutes late. Upon arrival, I was ironically informed by said receptionist that there was in fact a delay of 20 minutes to my appointment time owing to earlier appointments running over time.

    I am sorry to hear about your recent problem when you felt the receptionist's attitude fell short of your expectation and for the added stress that this caused you. Perhaps you could either ring or email the practice with details of your name and the date this happened, so I can look more closely into the events of that day.

    Well run practice. Friendly staff help secure early appointments. In particular, my GP has proved to be well informed, efficient and caring. Congratulations to you all.
