  2. Review titled Poor service

I requested my repeat prescription on the 13/02/25 I was left without my anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medication & diabetic medication for 3 days. I had to physically go into the surgery on the 20/02/25 to sort it because no one had a clue what was going on. This isn't the first time this has happened. No apologies or explanations just excuses. I've requested a phone call from the surgery manager, but I doubt I'll hear from them.

  3. Review titled Wonderful surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Friendly professional and helpful staff from reception to the gp. Always feel heard and cared for despite being a very complex person medically. I received care for my ongoing cough and referred for further treatment. Staff issued my blood form and followed up with the referral that was ready to collect

When I was contacted about my mental health the Dr seemed genuinely concerned we talked about the triggers and he also arranged for someone from the mental health team who are situated in this practice to contact me of which they have.

  5. Review titled Strange

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 January 2025

I had an appointment booked for me, and a doctor call me for a telephone appointment and I have not even contacted the practice. Very strange, doctor then scheduled a callback. This type of thing is why the NHS has so much inefficiency and wastage. All of the above for an appointment I never even made?

  6. Review titled Long term patient of the Surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 January 2025

I had a face to face appointment booked with a GP from the practice. Due to the current snow and ice conditions impacting on the appointments, I had my appointment converted to a telephone appointment. I was rather relieved as I am disabled and was apprehensive about having an accident. The GP phoned within the alloted time, and the reason for my appointment was dealt with satisfactorily.

  8. Review titled Amazing doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a telephone appointment with the doctor, the same one I spoke to 4 weeks ago. I was surprised that he remembered me and things I had said. This put me at ease and gave me confidence that he cared.

  9. Review titled Appointment length

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Angela J Parr - Posted on 28 November 2024

Telephone appointment- I was requested to make the appointment to receive information; at the start of the call the GP asked me what she could do? Preparing for appointments of the day booked the GP should prepare better for that patient; they are paid a lot of money and yet research of patient history and recent ailments or tests. Otherwise they are flying without backing up their decisions when it could lead to serious harm; 3 minute calls are a joke when it’s the patient explaining to the GP what they are missing (medically) when it is repeatedly reported and recorded on their system. Poor Performance and Lacking of Care and Empathy

Dear Angela, Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We generally ask all reception staff to add comments to the appointment booking, advising the GP why the appointment has been made. I am sorry that this did not occur on this occasion and will bring this to the attention of the receptionist at our next meeting. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Ms G S Whitelock
