As soon as you walk in to the surgery you are greeted with a smile and asked how they can help. You can even now book an appointment in advance as well as ringing at 8am if it is an emergency. Since the new team took over I honestly cannot say they have let either myself or husband down with the care we have received. Also I have been invited to every ppi meeting to be kept up to date with all the information as to where and what the practice is up to after a very difficult start. To be honest I never knew anything about a ppi group until this team of professionals took oner. I find it so gratifying to be spoken to at these meetings and kept up to date and given the chance to speak on any issues. Not only would I recommend this surgery I already have. I would follow this surgery in the future no matter where they eventually settle as all I have received is a service where I am welcomed and supported in any way that is needed. Every issue I have ever brought up has been acted upon immediately in a courteous, timely manner. It treats me as a patient and not a nuisance.

I joined this practice last year and until recently have not needed to use the practice. I have unfortunately needed to attend the practice several times in the month of February due to an ongoing and quickly changing health problem. I have rang on the day and been able to have a face to face appointment and also book in advance. I had some urgent results returned and had a telephone call, due to my specific needs and feeling a bit overwhelmed I was then invited to the practice to discuss further and offered more reassurance. 4 face to face appointments in one week! On joining I had a new patient review and I’ve seen several members of the team all of whom I have to say are professional, polite and most importantly make you feel listened to. Plus the reception staff are friendly and you can even have a little joke with them. The nhs is getting a lot of bad hype at the minute but we all need to remember the small local practices who work tirelessly everyday for the local patients and fight to keep the practice owned by local people that want to do the right thing by the patients. The only ask I have is can we have a television in the waiting room, it’s always nice to have something to watch? The training doctors are very nice and I’ve seen one of them twice they have lots of time for me and it was nice to hear someone else on the waiting room saying how much the practice has changed and improved. Well done team Roby it is a pleasure to be your patient and I proudly tell everyone that you’re my doctors and you’re doing such good things for the patients. If you need a GP practice I recommend this one.

VERY satisfied as to how quick my appointment was available when I called (next day). I felt at ease when examined - discussed meds and was well informed about my condition. Will be referred to hospital.

I have recently registered me and my son at the practice. I am so happy I made the move all staff are very helpful, I have managed to book appointments when needed for my son. I have seen 2 of doctors on separate occasions both are very thorough. I highly recommend this practice.

I registered with Roby after one of my friends recommended them and I am so pleased I took their advice. This is a very well run practice, the staff are helpful and go the extra mile to help you. I was able to phone up in the morning and get a face to face appointment with a GP the same day - something I've not been able to do for years with my old practice. The GP was very caring and took the time to go through everything I needed. I couldn't be more grateful to them and would recommend anyone to register with Roby Medical Centre.

Just a short message to say how wonderful this practice is. I have recently registered here since not being happy with my old practice and I am very impressed with how well it is run and the levels of service and care it provides. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and there are a choice of clinicians available to book appointments with, all available short notice and plenty of face to face appointments. I couldn't rate this practice more highly and will recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you to all the staff.

Roby Medical Centre has been consistently impressive with its level of care and delivery of services. There are always appointments available, all face to face if you want one, and you can even get one the same day most of the time. With the current situation of primary care across the NHS it’s very refreshing to find a practice going the extra mile for its patients to ensure they receive the best care available. I would recommend the practice to anyone looking to join.

I recently had to call the practice to book an appointment after not feeling well over Christmas. I don’t go to the practice often and thankfully I’m a well person. Listening to the media made me believe it was going to be difficult to get an appointment and I was dreading it. It couldn’t be easier I rang the phone was answered after a couple of minutes and I was asked if I wanted face to face or telephone, I asked for face to face and then was then given options for times the same day! I then needed a further appointment a week later and the same thing happened, this time I choice to have an appointment the next day. Amazing service each time and the staff are lovely. Just shows don’t believe the media trust your local practice and believe they are there to help you! The practice has changed a lot since the change in owners but it’s all for the positive!

After a phone call re: my husband who was really feeling u well, he was given an appointment to see the doctor that same morning. She was very concerned about his health and obtained a consultant appointment at local hospital that afternoon. Follow up on him has been quick and efficient. Also, I find that I always get a return can if I have a problem with anything, which is Wonderful, as are all the staff I have dealt with since they took over my existing practice.
