Doctor very helpful and listens to your worries and needs . Made sure I understood the problems I had and explained treatments and why I was still having problems with my hearing. I was very satisfied with advice and treatment

I have a fantastic gp who is very sympathetic and listens to what I say The only downside to the practice is that you can’t makes routine appointment you have to call at 8 am in the morning for an emergency appt.

My last visit was a great improvement in service and efficiency. The automated phone message was much shorter, the person who answered was cheerful and helpful and I got a same day appointment without any trouble. A big change from previous experiences.

I recently had two medical concerns The doctor responded promptly and contacted me by telephone I had bloods taken the next day The doctors have always been very professional.

I was feeling very nervous about my appointment. I need not have worried. The two receptionists downstairs were incredibly helpful and as my first point of contact at the surgery they are excellent ambassadors for the NHS and for Roman Way surgery. My mum was an NHS midwife for 30 + years and two female receptionists’ knowledge and attention to detail reminded me firstly of my mum and what a fantastic organisation the NHS is. If that wasn’t enough I had to return a few days later for some blood tests and while I waited to be called the receptionists were so on point and adept and agile at answering every incoming phone call that watching them ‘do their thing’ was like watching two composers at The Royal Albert Hall! The Dr that I saw was also very attentive and inquisitive in helping me work towards setting me on a journey to find out what my health problems may be. When you have staff like the two receptionist working like a well-oiled machine the return on investment is likely incalculable because you cannot put a price on the experience and knowledge they have. An absolute priority for the NHS has to be to retain and reward staff like the two receptionist who were working on the 10th May 2024, so that the NHS does not lose their breadth of knowledge. (Full disclosure: I do not know either of the receptionists in a personal capacity).

Was very happy Gp so helpful Gp listened to me and allowed me to explain my issues. I would like to see same gp again .he knows exactly what me problem is

The doctor I always choose to see is a kind, patient and attentive doctor. He actually listens and respects the patient’s feelings and opinions. The ladies at reception are also very reliable, they do what they say they will I have a particularly good experience with them as they have a very sympathetic manner of speaking when I phone in. The nurses who do the tests and flu jabs are also very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this surgery based on my interactions with my doctor and the staff.

I homebound /bedboundhave no problems as my doctor arranges my home visits and treatment with ease and comes out to see me and arranges for rapid response services ie blood tests etc injections etc

I have always had exceptional service with my Practice, I had to see my Doctor in April as I had a reoccurring problem, which he recognised immediately, and referred me to a Specialist
