I called earlier today and secured an appointment with a doctor at 4pm today who was exceptionally helpful and even provided me with my flu jab during same visit. It was genuinely a pleasant experience

  3. Review titled Virtually inaccessible

Rated 1 star out of 5

Not only is it impossible to telephone to get an appointment - even the online e-consult is only available at restricted times in the morning - why make the service so inaccessible? It does put you off trying to make an appointment which I am sure longer term does not make sense for the NHS. Have now changed surgery. I would rather travel further to a more accessible centre.

  4. Review titled kind staff dradful management sysyems

Rated 2 stars out of 5

A doctorsPractice is supposed to exist for the aid and wellbeing of the patient. The service at the Royal Arsenal could be called laughable, if it was not so serious. The only way to get an appointment is to call at 08.00 am along with everyone else.Just try and see if you get through. Maybe go there at 0800 am and line with everyone else...the sick and the desperate. Do they not realise the anxiety and distress they are causing to people after help. Avoid this place please.....e consult is not accepted...their website says please do not visit the Practice. I could go on, but whats the point...they know full well what distree they cause to people desperate for help

We apologize for the difficulties you've encountered in accessing GP appointments at Royal Arsenal Medical Centre. We understand that there are certain times of the day, such as 8am, when we experience a higher volume of calls, which may contribute to the challenges you've faced. Have you attempted to utilize online access or the NHS app? These platforms provide access to our pre-bookable appointments, which are available Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM. You may have read some historical covid-19 information from March 2020 advising patients not to visit the practice unless they have been invited. This information was displayed on our homepage, but we have taken the necessary steps to remove it. Yours Sincerely Royal Arsenal Medical Centre

  5. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 July 2023

Having been a patient at this practice for several years, I continue to be delighted with the care I receive. Throughout this time, I have consulted with various doctors, and I am consistently impressed by the promptness and efficiency of their service. I acknowledge that reaching the practice by phone can sometimes lead to prolonged wait times, which can be frustrating and concerning, particularly in urgent situations when an appointment is needed. Despite this issue, I can confidently say that my overall experiences at this practice have been positive, and I am satisfied with the level of care I have received.

  6. Review titled Impossible to see a doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anthony Richards - Posted on 23 May 2023

Don't bother to register with this practice, when you need to consult a doctor it is virtually impossible to get an appointment or a review online through the eConsult facility. Too many patients + not enough staff = go somewhere else

  8. Review titled Diabetes review

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Jane Pawley - Posted on 23 March 2023

I recently attended the surgery for a yearly diabetic review and was treated in a friendly and professional manner. However the text I received inviting me to this review stated that if I didn’t attend I would be struck off the practice list. I always attend this review and this threat seems quite unusual. Also please update the staff list . No doctors nurses or health assistants are now listed on the website. Thanks

  10. Review titled Econsult hours are inconsistent

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 13 March 2023

I have an important health matter and this GP's econsult hours are never the same and are narrow in availability. It was bad enough when the centre only took questions between 8-10 (difficult availability for working people), but this morning I went on at 8:44 and the centre was not taking any econsult questions. It's hard to get answers when you contact via phone as the GPs are spotty in replying. It's difficult to get timely appointments as well. All of these situations could put someone's life in danger.
