I’ve been trying to get a dr appointment face to face for the same issue for the last 2 month be not available got cut of twice from the queue and then I got through she cuts me off so had to ring again 28 times to get through again no help from receptionist

I have suffered from asthma for the majority of my adult life to the point it would affect my quality of life. The asthma nurse I spoke to today (27.08.2024) was brilliant. She previously prescribed me an alternative inhaler and it has been almost 3 weeks now and this has eradicated my asthma symptoms. I am extremely grateful to her.

I had an appointment today with the nurse. I was very nervous about my appointment. she was wonderful. She made me feel reassured, comfortable and she was very understanding.

The receptionist who helped me on the 06/24 is always very helpful and lovely on the phone. she's very understanding, patient, soft spoken and brilliant at what she does.

I called in the morning luckily after 15 minutes hold they give me appointment with pharmacist, He was a good guy he checked me and prescribed a medication but i went to the pharmacy after 2 hours and they said there is nothing for you then i went back to gp they end of the day will be ready then i call again to pharmacy still the same answer so i decided i will chek tomorrow i called pharmacy about 16 o clock and unfortunately the answer was same there is nothing for you i called to gp and she said let me check then he said you have to come at gp to collect the prescription so went there and finally i got my medicine so you rate it yourself how difficult to get medicine i spent 2 days there is big lack in the system should be improve,

Had tests done last week for Bower cancer and some other stomach tests. Had a text saying i needed to call to speak to the practice about the results. Called and was told the doctor needed to speak to me and would call this afternoon. No call by 17:30 so called to chase and was told would get a call by 18:30. had no call from the doctor. called today to be told ill have to wait until tomorrow. Explained i have anxiety and my dad has had bowel cancer and grandparents both died of bowel cancer. Told still doesn't change things will have to wait. No Empathy and i am being punished because the Dr did not call me - left waiting with pending results that i have been worried about for over a week and now told to wait longer and given attitude by phone when asking for an appoitment for my results. Absolutely awful way to treat people. Asked to complain to be told why would you want to complain what would you complain about and someone would call me but not today

I was able to get same day appointment with reception staff polite and knowledgeable. Looked up my record to see latest test results and gave me appointment. Consultation with doctor was excellent, she listened and advised me accordingly. Everything I would expect from a well run GP surgery.

You can never get through to them, it’s as though they’ve cut the phone line because it doesn’t ever go through. On the rare occasion you get through, the receptionist is not extremely rude and dismissive. They literally make my symptoms worse and give me additional stress. I’ve been trying to book a doctors appointment for the past week and every time, I’ve been refused and just told to go to a&e. The receptionist makes up a new story every time I ring to deliberately avoid giving me a doctors appointment. They don’t know how to treat their patients or how to communicate with people. Further training on how to speak and treat patients is needed. They neglect their patients and deliberately are difficult.
