You can never speak to this surgery over the phone. You can never get help. My son ran out of long term medication a month ago! I tried to call multiple times eventually spoke to someone as it had been removed from his repeats after we could never get an appointment for a review. I was promised it would be looked at sent an online form heard nothing. Sent and email to the surgery got a message telling me to ring. Now after a month I get a text telling me the doctor has said we need to come in for a review. But I can't book an appointment ever. You are denying people medication! You are putting my child at risk. They provide literally no service whatsoever. You can't ring them you can't get an appointment. I don't know what I need to do to report them and escalate this but I will

Today the service was dire. I was expecting a phone call re my Husband with Covid. A message was left saying a Dr had rung me 4 times. I have moderate to severe hearing problems. The mobile was with me at all times. This is not good enough for elderly patients. I do not enjoy being negative but it’s no help. You are simply passed on to 111 it leaves me defeated.

I received my cervical screening letter asking me to contact the GP for an appointment. The letter did not state to contact a nurse for an appointment. Without this information it is unfair to expect patients to know which 500 icons to click. Many women do not have their cervical screening for many reasons and I feel the online form/invite letter has not made it clear or easy for women to make appointments, this is really disappointing.

I had an appointment with one of the nurses This morning and I wanted to leave a review to to say that this lady went above and beyond and is a credit to the practice. She was passionate about her work and explained the process of how things have changed since my last routine apt. She put me at ease during my procedure and and also gave me confidence in myself. I added my mobile number to my account in the hope that it would help notification of vaccination appointments. I got a text by return supplying a hyperlink. I cannot respond as my mobile is not a smartphone and there appears to be no other way of confirming my number. Yet another example of lack of support for older people generally. Sorry I can’t respond in the way required.

Didn’t see a Doctor… saw physiotherapist couldn’t give me a prescription I have to apply on line for a Doctors approval. Give advice there was no diagnosis just told to apply Voltrol and do some exercise… if no improvement get another appointment in 8 weeks. Another massive failure by Modality

I came into the surgery to book an appointment with My gp . I was told by the receptionist to go on line to book as she could not. Or I could call the surgery as I would be number five in the queue. I needed to make an appointment and was stood in front of her , why can she not book. Why have receptionist at all. I am 85. I have heart failure and have not seen my gp in a while. Leaving this review. Do not expect anything back

Review titled Communication problem with Airedale hospital

After 3 weeks I have been unable to get results of a CT scan . Airedale say the results are available but 2 doctors unable to access them at Silsden. I feel let down and unable to find answers. Having worked for Airedale trust for 36 years as a nurse then a midwife for 29 years I find the new system Modality a total disappointment. I’ve been on hold via the phone then cut off after half an hour , unable to speak to a professional and unable to get results. How is this an improvement?

The new prescription request sevice does not allow a patient to make special requests for more Medication that has recently prescribed as there in no longer a box to fill in on line. There also no way you can contact the practice pharmacy.
