    I had an appointment with one of the nurses This morning and I wanted to leave a review to to say that this lady went above and beyond and is a credit to the practice. She was passionate about her work and explained the process of how things have changed since my last routine apt. She put me at ease during my procedure and and also gave me confidence in myself. Thankyou

    I added my mobile number to my account in the hope that it would help notification of vaccination appointments. I got a text by return supplying a hyperlink. I cannot respond as my mobile is not a smartphone and there appears to be no other way of confirming my number. Yet another example of lack of support for older people generally. Sorry I can’t respond in the way required.

    Didn’t see a Doctor… saw physiotherapist couldn’t give me a prescription I have to apply on line for a Doctors approval. Give advice there was no diagnosis just told to apply Voltrol and do some exercise… if no improvement get another appointment in 8 weeks. Another massive failure by Modality

    I came into the surgery to book an appointment with My gp . I was told by the receptionist to go on line to book as she could not. Or I could call the surgery as I would be number five in the queue. I needed to make an appointment and was stood in front of her , why can she not book. Why have receptionist at all. I am 85. I have heart failure and have not seen my gp in a while. Leaving this review. Do not expect anything back

  5. Review titled Communication problem with Airedale hospital

    After 3 weeks I have been unable to get results of a CT scan . Airedale say the results are available but 2 doctors unable to access them at Silsden. I feel let down and unable to find answers. Having worked for Airedale trust for 36 years as a nurse then a midwife for 29 years I find the new system Modality a total disappointment. I’ve been on hold via the phone then cut off after half an hour , unable to speak to a professional and unable to get results. How is this an improvement?

  6. Review titled no box in prescription request to add information

    The new prescription request sevice does not allow a patient to make special requests for more Medication that has recently prescribed as there in no longer a box to fill in on line. There also no way you can contact the practice pharmacy.

  7. Review titled Good practice, but bad contact

    I need to discuss a letter of referral from a consultant following a colon- and endoscopy, with the possibility of future treatment. I went online to complete a patient referral form only to be informed that I must complete this during surgery opening hours. As somebody who works during the day and has to complete this form during the evening I find it quite bizarre and really beyond belief that I cannot complete this form out of hours. Surely the purpose of this form is to contact the surgery at the patients leisure, and do surely I should be able to complete this at any time, allowing staff to contact me when convenient. I don’t think this is asking for too much and would value a response as to why I cannot complete this form out of surgery hours. Also, during this refined, it would be nice if I could book an appointment at the same time, if I’ve not been able to complete this form by the time I’m contacted.

    Have submitted a request as a medical review is needed on Monday 24th July. Still waiting for a response. Can’t ring to get an appeals you can’t do that no one answers and it would seem they don’t answer response online by 4pm same day - obviously not important enough for them as it is for us. Will now have to go in person. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and service. What’s happened to it ?

    Difficult to get to see a doctor. No good diagnosing over the phone. When a Dr talks to you, they make you feel you are wasting their time. They don't appear to have even read your history so they know about you. Never know the doctors who I am talking to and find them rushing and uncaring . never follow up. I feel very poorly but no care offered. Can only discuss 1 symptom at a time even though others are related.

    I understand the move to online but there must be exceptions made. My father is 94 and a half, deaf, house bound and has never used the internet. Booking a nurse appointment for him today has taken 7 attempts to be put in telephone queue then a hours wait in a queue then to be told I had to use the internet to make the appointment. What about patients without younger family members to help? Suggesting that, if he didn’t have a computer, he should ring or visit the surgery to book (impossible) was unhelpful.
