I had an appointment with the Physiotherapist. He was a really helpful and caring expert who made me feel at ease and described the symptoms in detail.

Was seen by a lovely GP - she was very reassuring and thorough! I went in for 1 issue and with my extensive past medical history the GP ensured everything was covered and took time to listen to me and ensured not to miss anything out. She was brilliant!

After getting my appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early and was seen almost straight away. The doctor examined me, explained the problem and how best to fix it. Was back on the road in less than 10 minutes. Great service, thank you

Review titled Why need book appointment when doctor chasing patient
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 December 2024
Doctor txt received 3/12/24 9am asking to complete triage form about meds at 8am which has passed. Was expecting a link or something to do form but had to call & ask what to do. To be told to book appointment at 8am to speak to about meds. If a doctor needs to know how patient is doing why don't they just use a appointment slot on that day so they can call instead of patient chasing after an appointment to speak to doctor when actually the doctor is looking to speak to patient? The hospitals and other professionals call the patient but GPs make the patients chase to try & get appointment which could take a couple of days to get one if it's full all the time.

Review titled Review
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Karen Winstanley - Posted on 04 December 2024
I had my yearly review on Tuesday 26th November 24 and had blood tests and did a urine sample. On Wednesday 27th I had a phone call from the practice from the receptionist saying I had a slight drop in renal function and I needed to repeat my urine test which I did on Monday 2nd December as I wasn’t feeling well. I started with diarrhoea on Thursday night 28th November. I asked what that meant but she said she was unable to tell me as she’s not medically trained. So I looked it up on the internet which really frightened me as it said that a drop in renal function meant that I had kidney disease. I was really stressed out and didn’t understand what I was supposed to do so on Monday 2nd December ‘24 I filled the online form in for a GP to phone me back to explain what that meant but I got a text with a link saying to book an appointment. When I pressed on the link there were no appointments available so I rang the surgery. The receptionist said there were no appointment left for today but offered me an appointment on Tuesday 3rd December at 9.40. I saw a really pleasant Dr not sure what his name was but I explained everything to him and he said there is nothing wrong with my urine sample test result so I said why was I asked to repeat it then and was put through all that stress for nothing. He didn’t really know why I was asked to repeat my urine sample. Could you look into it please because telling someone something as frightening as this really isn’t good. It stopped me from sleeping and eating.
