I went in suffering from Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. I received excellent treatment and as forecast after 3 sessions I was cured.

Friendly, attentive staff and exceptional service at a worrying time when my son had breathing difficulties. Referred for same-day blood tests and a chest x-ray at the Princess Royal University Hospital. This early intervention was crucial in obtaining the correct treatment for my son. Also in my experience, E-consults are responded to timely and efficiently which saves time when attending the surgery is not necessary.

After sending an econsult Monday morning I was offered an emergency slot the same day. The surgery was flexible in reorganising one for the following day as I was away from Bromley. At appointment, the GP I saw was significantly concerned with my presentation, conducted a thorough physical examination and took tests after asking many questions. She prescribed medication but warned me to have a low threshold to attend A&E if no improvement after one dose. After her emphasised advice, I did indeed end up presenting at A&E the same evening, was prioritised and admitted with a condition, exactly as the GP had correctly diagnosed. Her timely advice, skilled diagnostic ability and her compassion and concern was a testament to the surgery. I am most grateful.

I feel compelled to write a review of my recent experiences given that a lot of GP surgeries are facing criticism. All staff are extremely helpful and respectful, but a special thank you to the surgery pharmacist, who went above and beyond recently, taking the time to alleviate my concerns and answering my many questions regarding my medication. On the whole I receive a good service but a little feed up of the surgery keeping on phoning me up for blood tests I value my independence and health I know you guys are only doing their job the current medication I take on a regular basis and makes me go to the toilet often it is totally unsuitable I want a better quality of life. I guess I am lumbered with all the medical conditions wether I like it or not. I send my very best wishes to all the staff.

Tha main comment I have today is, that I started with e consult. I was told I needed medical advice and to go to 111. They referred me to ‘Just Ask’ who suggested a phone conversation which would have cost £34! I then rang the surgery- receptionist very helpful and spoke clearly as I have hearing loss. Later the Dr sent me an email and recommended decongestants and steam inhalation. I couldn’t reply to her & say that I’ve been advised in the past not to take decongestants because of high blood pressure. The pharmacist re-iterated this. I have generally been very satisfied with my involvement with the practice over 11 years, including during the pandemic, but I found today’s experience frustrating and exhausting.

Since I have joined the GP 1 year ago my experience hasn’t been pleasant. Despite giving clear instructions what blood tests I need the doctor hasn’t listed it. After going back and forth with the clinic requesting the doctor I finally get blood tests done. This process took 6months. This has now happened 3 times in a row. When I called to speak to the doctor they aren’t available. When fill in the triage request the time frames don’t match. Not at all happy with the service provided.

I had vertigo and I was given an appointment with the physio therapist. She manipulated my head and thankfully I have not had vertigo since.
