Since I have joined the GP 1 year ago my experience hasn’t been pleasant. Despite giving clear instructions what blood tests I need the doctor hasn’t listed it. After going back and forth with the clinic requesting the doctor I finally get blood tests done. This process took 6months. This has now happened 3 times in a row. When I called to speak to the doctor they aren’t available. When fill in the triage request the time frames don’t match. Not at all happy with the service provided.

I had vertigo and I was given an appointment with the physio therapist. She manipulated my head and thankfully I have not had vertigo since.

I was called by A Doctor as she examined my Bp she was concerned it was a bit to high for her liking and immediately issued a prescription for me to collect. She then followed up with arranging an appointment to check if things were going ok for two weeks time, I hadn’t asked for this, she just sorted this out as part of her professional commitment to her patients. I have heard terrible things in the press and TV , but how can anyone have a problem with service like this. Unbelievable Very Happy.with attention to detail from this Doctor and Southview Surgery

Staff are always helpful and friendly. The help I've received just lately has been brilliant. I have had no problem with them keeping in touch, listening to me and helping with new appointments and medication. But I haven't seen anyone in person, fine with me it's more convenient, but that won't work for everyone!

On this occasion I had a physiotherapy appointment and the therapist had some concerns, I was seen by the duty doctor immediately. Prior to this I have used e consult and found that service very good.

I have been with this surgery my whole life. When I was younger service was quick and efficient but in the last 6 years the surgery had become a mess. Staff are always changing ,it’s almost impossible to get a hold of an appointment. The receptionist are rude and unhelpful and never follow through with e-consult. I have had many health problems that have gone completely ignore or unchecked by this gp including a surgery that they scheduled and cancelled for me without ever informing me. Nothing ever happens, if you plan on not getting ill then you are their ideal patient but if you want any help at all within a 5 year period of getting ill then avoid!

I came in for a doctors appointment for my daughter today. The Dr we saw was very nice. She took the time to throughly check her over. Listen to my concerns and reassure me. She also remind me to follow my instincts. She sang to my daughter which kept her calm while checks were being carried out. Thank you so much, we really appreciate it.

For a period of 9 months every interaction with the practice has been excellent. From the medical staff to the reception staff. Using the econsult service was very efficient and quick. And any telephone queries I had were dealt with very efficiently.

Called on Monday to book appointment to see the doctor due to being up all night in pain. Receptionist kindly went through the e consult form with me and was told that I would hear back from the doctor later that evening or the following morning. I had no call back on the Monday and no call back on the Tuesday. I called the surgery on Tuesday afternoon to ask when I was likely to hear from the doctor but the receptionist was unhelpful. How does this triage system work ? Considering I have been recently diagnosed with leukaemia I would have thought that I would have heard back from the doctor sooner rather than later or in this case not at all ! Frankly, this experience of trying to see or speak to a GP is stressful and hugely frustrating.
