    I book my appointments three time but without any reason they cancel my appointments when ask the receptionist attitude is so poor and don’t let you talk act like dictators bcz most of them very old and don’t have any patience or temperament to listen to you . Very bad surgery and worst staff in entire uk please don’t register your self with them you will highly regret

    Caring pharmacist, listened and gave useful advice. Very impressed. It's been a while since I have seen a doctor in person at the practice, but the pharmacist was very helpful. The nurses are also superb.

    Complained, via e-consult, of chronic insomnia and was told it was due to my life-style and given links to internet, without any consultation as to my life-style or reference to family history. Was prescribed antihistamine but at dosage not recognised by pharmacy so returned to surgery who re-issued a prescription, but for the same dosage. Finally got to speak to a GP who suggested blood tests. After waiting for two weeks, I contacted surgery for results and was told that i would be contacted within the next five days. Five days are up and still waiting.

    Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you are having problems getting your blood test results. Usually the GP would only contact you if there was an issue with your result.     I tried to order some prescriptions this morning. It’s now 8.15 and it’s saying the surgery is closed which it’s not because I’ve just spoken to someone about an appointment.

    Thanks for you feedback. Our surgery phones open at 8.00 for urgent or emergency patients. Our website forms open at 08.30 -18.00 but the phones are open until 18.30. I hope this helps for accessing us in the future. Thanks Jasmin Williams

    They have one telephone line you can wait up to 90 mins. Do have call back service however, does not always happen on the same day. No F2F appointments Standard appointment via phone 3 weeks from when you request Expected to wait 3 weeks to discuss your test results Really, really Poor Service and needs to be addressed, if they do not want to see patients, get Doctors that do !

    I am very sorry to hear you have had such a bad experience getting through to the Practice on the Telephone. Requests can also be sent to us via our website and we aim to respond within a few hours. Our wait time for a routine F2F appointment is no longer than 2 weeks.     I have experienced long waiting times over three weeks just to get test results . I have then been passed onto the hospital to chase my own test results which makes no sense as I was referred by my GP and have no former relationship with anyone at the hospital . Not to mention it will be difficult to get hold of someone to request my results . I don’t understand why the surgery could not support me by requesting the results from the hospital seeing as my GP referred me to the hospital for the scan . This is not the first time I’ve been asked to call different numbers to chase results . There’s no support when it comes to this and I’ve spent a lot of time on the phone trying to get hold of someone to just discuss my results with . I hoped I could discuss my results with my GP as they referred me and all former conversations are with my GP. Why is there no way for my hospital results to be sent to my Gp for discussion ? I also had another incident where I was booked in for an appointment and I didn’t know why . I called and messaged to ask why and I could not get an answer . I did not want to be waste my time travelling to an appointment I hadn’t booked and no one could tell me what it was for . I was then told to expect a call back to tell me what the appointment was for . I never received the call back . I did not go for the appointment because I didn’t receive the information I needed . When I checked my record I was marked as a no show which is unfair as I didn’t attend due to lack of information and communication from the surgery . Very disappointing

    My recent experience with Southview Surgery and certainly since the Pandemic has been very good. A recent call at 8 am resulted in a GP call at 9.30 and an 11 am same day appointment at Accute Illness Hub at Community Hospital. Excellent ….and medication by 12 noon! The on line system is very efficient and even if I leave a non urgent enquiry someone always gets back to me the same day. I find everyone I speak to, especially the Receptionists, very helpful and pleasant. Obviously everyone hates the 8 am scramble but the call back system by tapping in 2 always works! Thank You Southview for being so up to date on the technology……many friends at other surgeries are quite envious!

    South View surgery have really helped me to manage migraine which I've experienced since a teenager. I now have medication that works for me and its improved my quality of life so much. The GP pharmacist has really listened to my questions and always responds in a kind and informed way
