I phoned the surgery this morning, to book an appointment with a hca or a nurse, unfortunately,I was number 13 in the queue, which I was happy to wait, after 90 mins, I was number 1, which made me happy, suddenly I was kept as number 1 for more than 15 mins, and took me back to n u mber 13, I had to drop the line, couldn't wait longer, I sent a request through footfall, unfortunately no request can be dealt within 2/3 days, I phoned back the surgery later in the afternoon, and same thing as well happened, I was number 5 and waited for an hour before the surgery closes, luckily someone answered, This is very stressful, I only came out of a major operation to book for removal of sutures, and this is how reception team have been adding stress and pain by not answering the phones.

Went in for health check just before Christmas but had extremely painful back from twinge the day before. Westfield quickly helped me to get an emergency appointment that day and then booked for follow up with physio the following week. Everyone was so helpful and looked for solutions quickly and efficiently. Thank you to nurse, doctor, physio and reception staff for all you do and for the team approach in helping me to get better.

Getting assistance from the reception is appalling. Poor attitude and do not follow through on request for help. This has resulted in me being without essential medication over a weekend.

Online form had reached capacity so unable to request anything. Had no option but to call the practice. Was on hold for over an hour. I missed an important meeting as a result. Surely there has to be a better way of dealing with requests. Most unsatisfactory.

I am very sorry to hear you had a bad experience contacting the practice. The forms on our website are always kept open for 'routine'medical problems even when we have reached capacity. If you scroll to the bottom of the page there is a buttion that says'get help with any non-urgent problem. We do have a call back option where you can push 2 and a receptionist will call you back when its your turm in the quueu. I hope this helps confirm our processes. Doctor went out of their way to see me when no appointment available, very pleasant experience on the day. Friendly lady on reception and saw the doctor quickly

Your support, persistence and treatment has helped me to radically control Diabetes and has focused me to change my life style for the better. Incredibly quick, comprehensive, professional and efficient. The whole team at Westfield Surgery do a great job by providing the information to me, the patient, and eased my worrying. Appointments have been made within days of my enquiry. My friends in other areas are not so lucky as patients of Westfield Surgery. Thank you, your Surgery is a role model
