This surgery is a very nice one with the staff expercaly the nurses that attend to me always nurses she's a very good one that knows her job and she's available for questions and answers all the time I meet with her.

I spoke to a receptionist, asking for a telephone appointment with the doctor, who knows my medical history in detail. She suggested me that I can either come to see that doctor in person on Monday the 10th of February (I physically not able to visit due to back pain) or this doctor can only call me in two to three weeks time (???). The receptionist offered me a telephone appointment with another doctor on Wednesday, the 12th of February. I don't mind to talk to any doctor and respect them all, I only wanted to talk to my usual doctor because she knows my medical history. My question is: Why there is such a long time for the telephone appointment with the doctor who usually sees me ? Also, if this was not possible, are there any other doctors who can do a telephone consultation earlier than Wednesday (today is Friday, the 7th of February)? Thank you for your advice.

Dear Irina, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with the service you received from our practice. You submitted a request for an appointment on Friday afternoon. You were offered a face-to-face appointment with your usual doctor on Monday morning in a clinic where she is teaching medical students. As you are unable to come to the practice at present, you were offered the next available appointment with your usual GP or an appointment in 3 working days with another GP. We understand the importance of continuity of care for our patients and strive to provide this when requested. However, due to training or leave sometimes we are not able to give you an appointment with your usual doctor as quickly as you would like so we offer a sooner appointment with a different GP. All our GPs have access to your records and will do their best to provide you with the care you need. We can also provide on-the-day appointments for urgent needs. The doctor triaging your request for an appointment did not feel an urgent response was needed that afternoon, but if we have got that wrong then we apologise. Please do let our receptionist team know if you feel you need an urgent on-the-day appointment and why, so this can be relayed to the triage GP. Just had another appointment. The nurse was very friendly and I felt very comfortable with him. He showed genuine care in what I have been experiencing and gave good advise. Was pleased with the service given.

The triage form was great and very clear message from Dr on next steps. Reception staff were clear and friendly and Advanced Nurse Practitioner was so knowledgeable and helpful.

As an immunocompromised patient, I lean on the surgery a lot and am consistently impressed with the care I receive. Any medical concerns are swiftly responded to by the brilliant GPs - often on the same day. The doctors, nurses, phlebotomists and the reception team - all listen, advise and provide excellent care. It makes a big difference so wanted to pass on my thanks.

Was seen today to have my blood done. Was greeted warmly and was put at ease because of my fear of needles can’t mention the persons name but she was so inviting and informative. Asked for her to do my blood test in future.

Spring Hill have been fantastic. I recently had an issue that needed addressing and was seen quickly, by caring staff. I was encouraged by the staff to get back in touch with any issues and they checked on me several times to make sure I was okay. I would highly recommend to anyone!
