Did not try to rush me , did a thorough check and sent me for an x-ray with antibiotic aswell. An extremely nice GP. Hard to find them nowadays they normally want you in and out well that's if you get to see them at all.really put me at ease.

Actually getting an appointment continues to be hard, the phone was not answered despite me being “caller number one” for over half an hour and I was offered an appointment during the time I said I could not do! When I eventually got to see a GP, she was excellent. However, it took 12 days from getting I’ll to actually see a GP. Lastly, facilities at The Firs are much better that the old surgery, so that is good.

I’ve been with this practice 23 years and it wasn’t great before but today I submitted a request for an emergency appointment at 8.48 online and by 8:50am I had a call saying come in for 9:50am the best service I’ve had since I’ve been at the practice, and the doctor I saw listened to me and I didn’t feel rushed or unheard she gave me my prescription and some advice job well done

I had a scheduled phone call with a nurse yesterday to discuss blood test results, she listened and took her time talking to me and then booked me in for a GP Appointment today because she was concerned I was getting better. This seemed much better practice that previously at this surgery. When I saw the GP today, they were also thorough and empathetic and sought to help and reassure me. Again, this was not my experience of the surgery previously so I was pleasantly surprised

I had a wonderful experience at St. James Practice when taking my little daughter for her vaccinations. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. They took the time to explain everything and made sure my daughter was comfortable. Their professionalism and caring approach truly put my mind at ease. I’m grateful for their excellent service and the care they provide to families.
