    The practice is okay but can be much better in my opinion with regards of more doctors and better appointment services and quick turnaround The doctor was really good with our son and check it all properly

    I was very pleased how i was told about my mums blood results and what needs to be addressed. I was also happy with how quick my mum was offered a face to face appointment as she does not like phone consultations

    I had an appointment with the doctor at 15:45 today I had a problem with my eyes for the past few days my eyes were swollen and extremely itchy as I was explaining to doctor the situation but he did not even make eye contact with me I found him extremely rude as I explained to him the situation keeps accuring I told him if he can refer me as I need to know why this keeps accuring.

    Dear St James Medical Practice, Thank you for your message. While I appreciate the care provided, I would like to share some constructive feedback regarding my recent experience. I faced some challenges during my last consultation, particularly concerning the communication about my medication. I requested a small dose of sleeping tablets, as I occasionally have difficulty sleeping before important life events, such as interviews or appointments. However, I was informed that I would not be prescribed this medication without a clear explanation, and was instead offered travel tablets. These cause significant drowsiness and dizziness, which makes it difficult for me to attend such events, leaving me without a viable solution. Additionally, I have made repeated requests for a review of my ADHD treatment, but I have not yet received a response or a suitable treatment plan. This has caused me significant frustration as my symptoms are worsening, and I am struggling to manage them effectively. I believe addressing these communication issues would greatly improve the patient experience, ensuring that individuals feel heard and that their concerns are fully considered. I will be leaving a more detailed review on the NHS Choices website as requested, but I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with some direct feedback.     Today’s visit was an urgent request - I submitted my request for appointment online and someone called me two hours later and offered a slot for this afternoon. The practitioner that I was seen by was friendly and efficient, she offered her insight and prescribed the treatment I needed.

    St James have had to temporarily locate to another surgery while they await the opening of their new premises. While I am very disappointed by the delay to their move, they have so far continued to provide a good, business as usual service, sending me an invitation to book a flu jab, communicating clearly about my appointment and running (nearly) to schedule on the day of the jab.

    Was seen promptly for my flue injection, didn’t feel any pain when administered. Had blood pressure taken, professionally done. Also hopefully sorted out my referral to Muscular Skeletal clinic.
