    The GP and training assistant whose names escape me were informative, engaging, friendly and the service from beginning to end was very patient focussed.

    Really positive experience with this practice for separate appointments for my husband and son. They're overworked and sometimes run late for appointments but they deal with patients with compassion and go the extra mile.

    Thank you for your kind words and we appreciate the positive feedback Amanda, we do try our best to help all our patients and some times dealing with patients with complex cases or many long term conditions we do run late. We have only 10 minutes per appointment and on the odd occasion 10 minutes is not enough

    The receptionist who works mornings is very patient and helpful especially as I am hard of hearing, both of us wear masks and have a screen between us making hearing and understanding a challenge for me. She checks my blood test results then makes a telephone appointment for a GP to phone me and writes it down as I may have misheard. She also checks when I am due for various medical check ups and books appointments. Much appreciated. Thank you.

    Usually I’m happy and satisfied with my GP practice. An issue I have is when you speak to someone on the phone they never tell you their name, then when you have to call in again they ask who you spoke to before!!! It’s very difficult to get an appointment and if it’s an ongoing issue they seem to refer you to the enhanced GP service the out of hours. I don’t like this

    Dear A.sen thank you for your comments I will mention them to our Receptionists so that they introduce themselves to you in future. As for the appointments here is the number of appointments we covered last year and the phone calls we handled: April 1st 2022-31st March 2023 total number of appointments offered 70,853 GP 38,957 Telephone calls from 1st April 2022 - 31st March 2023 143,879 average 11,989.91 per month so you can see we do provide a lot but unfortunately sometimes we just run out of appointments and have to offer the patient an Out of Hours appointment. They should be able to help you because they have exactly the same information about your medical record as we do. Practice Manager

    I arrived 10 minutes early for a 3pm appointment and was made to wait one and a half hours for a health check with the nurse. There was a queue of patients by the front door for reception. This meant that there were people waiting, obstructing the main entrance and the access doors to the consulting rooms. I gave my details to the receptionist and believed she had checked me in. After 59 minutes I approached the receptionist to inquire whether the nurse was aware that I was checked in, and where I was in queue. Rather curtly, I was told to wait in the reception area. No check was done. Twenty minutes later, I asked another practice worker who was collecting patients from the reception area, the same question. She looked very shocked and kindly said she would alert the nurse as to my situation. After 90 minutes of waiting I was told by a very apologetic nurse that I had not been checked in initially. I suggest that the reception window closer to the waiting area be used to avoid congestion around the main door and the automatic registration terminal be reinstated in the waiting area, which used to ease the crowding, but has been out of action for a very long time - about 2 years or more. In the meantime, there could be 2 receptionists on duty if possible. There should be clear signage at the front area about registration too. In the past doctors would alert people by audio and visual electronic means through a readout in the waiting area, this saves the staff valuable time. That system has not been functioning for a very long time either. Once I managed to see the nurse, my experience was fine, though my blood pressure was higher than normal. She commented that it was probably caused by the stress of the wait and my treatment at reception. Please try and sort this situation out for the sake of all patients and staff. I would like an email response to this request please.

    Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you were not booked in properly at the start and had to wait a long time. We will try and open 2 windows as often as we can and whenever a queue forms. With respect to the automatic arrival screen and audio calling in screen we had to remove them due to water leeking in from the roof over the electrical wires. We intend to replace them when we move to our new building which unfortunately has been delayed due to circumstances beyond our control

    Every doctor and nurse I have seen here has been good, but unfortunately everything else is poor. The receptionists are rude, and on one occasion gave me incorrect advice. During peak covid, access was terrible - you had to stand outside and bang on the door, which wasn’t answered. Eventually, someone in the outside queue would always ring reception, hold for 20 minutes, get through, tell them there was a queue of people here for their appointments, and then after 10 minutes someone would answer the door, visibly irritated that we had turned up for our booked appointments. On one of those occasions, heavily pregnant women were standing in the car park for half an hour in 35 degree heat. Nowadays, you are allowed in to the building, but the last time I attended, I went to what I assumed was the check-in desk (there is no signage) and waited for the receptionist to finish her phone call. She avoided eye contact and her phone call went on for minutes. Unsure if I was in the right place, I saw that there was another queue at the other end of the waiting room - also with no signage. This one unfortunately turned out to be for blood tests only. (Impossible to know.) I had arrived early, but by the time I was checked in, I was 10 minutes late. The website directs you to book your appointment online, but then sends you to ‘Patient Access’ which turns out to be for private services only. In summary, I’ve been a patient at many different London NHS GPs, and I am not unrealistic, but access and communication at this one is … a mess.

    Waited 10 minutes in line made me late for appointment and only one receptionist desk open. The first receptionist didn't ask if anyone had an appointment. The only desk that was open was for collecting sick notes and registering at the surgery.

    Very efficient experience. I was called in for a Health Check. I was in and out in 20 minutes. All very comprehensive. I had forgotten my mask but they had one for me.
