    The receptionist on my visit to the surgery was very helpful, caring and patient with me and resolved issues with appointments and a technical issue with the app. I’m not allowed to mention her by name unfortunately.

    Thank you for your comments, we try our best to arrange appointments for our patients as quickly as we can. With our new on line consultation via our website it triages the conditions and prioritises the appointment accordingly, i.e. immediate, urgent or routine. We find this system is a really good method for patients to book into, we are one of the very few surgeries in the country to use this system and the first in London. Practice Manager

    This practice is complete chaos. Its very hard to get appointments and you have to wait for a very long time to get through on the phone to ask questions. When you do get through, receptionists are rude and patronising. Appreciate that the GPs, Nursing and office staff are all trying their best under staffing pressures and a NHS that is very over- stretched, however, even when you do get to see a health professional, test results are lost, referrals never made and appointments cancelled without warning. Its an uphill struggle to get a straight answer out of anyone and everyone keeps blaming each other or the system. If I wasn't waiting on a referral (made twice as the first was lost) I would leave this GP but i'm too scared to unless I have to wait yet again (i've already been waiting since May).

    Arrived early but the appointment was delayed 20 mins, so it was rushed. Also queued for a blood test for over an hour, even with an “urgent” note. However, all the staff were incredibly friendly, approachable and tried to be as helpful as they could, under the circumstances.

    Thank you for your comments, unfortunately sometimes the clinicians run over the time allocated to an appointment if it is complex, we only have 10 minutes allocated to each appointment and although they do their best to complete the appointment within the timeframe on occasions it is not possible. I am sorry you had to wait for an hour to have your bloods taken, firstly urgent on your blood form does not mean you need to have your bloods taken within a set time it is put on the form for the phlebotomist as they are only doing urgent blood tests at the moment and if you did not have urgent on your form you would have to wait weeks for an appointment, secondly the bloods department is nothing to do with our surgery, they are an independent department who just happen to use the same building as us, and we have no jurisdiction over them whatsoever.     Registered here for me and my new baby 4 months ago and have had several appointments with both GP and nurse staff. The receptionists have always been friendly and helpful, despite obviously being under pressure from shortages relating to covid. Appointments have been on time or at most 10 minutes late (I was used to appts running up to an hour late at my previous practice). The GP and nurses I’ve seen have been really helpful and reassuring as well. So glad I switched to this practice!

    Tried phoning at 8am on 5 separate occasions while I’m at work I start at 6am unsuccessful, walked into the practice and explained and was given “the link” it took me 40mins photo's/scanning and filling out requested information, pressed send n was informed I would hear in 48hours after a week I popped into the clinic. The receptionist insisted they hadn’t received it and speaking across the room to her manager shouting my details and the manager requesting my need for an appointment which I had to repeat 3 times resulting in the queue behind me all knowing my business which is embarrassing still not given an appointment. I had my diabetic review yesterday with a lovely nurse who listened to my problem booking an appointment and went and spoke to the manager I have been given a consultation phone appointment today. This whole situation is stressful and upsetting n I was at my wits end.

    I am a cardiac patient and expecting a scan letter from my cardiologist. I moved home last month and tried to change my home address with cardiology who mentioned that it’s only GP who will update this record. I tried to get both parties on conference call to sort it out. Cardiology department agreed. After 25 minutes wait I got the GP receptions on line and the moment I tried to merge the call, the receptions drop my call. Really frustrating and still not sure if I will get my scan letter.

    Thank you for your response, but don't you think that if you had informed the surgery before this happened it could have been avoided, instead you have wasted the cardiologist's time and you have wasted our time, because now we have to track you down to give you your results. If you have moved out of our area then it will cause even more complications as we will not be able to refer you to our regular hospitals. Our Receptionists don't just drop phone calls for the fun of it, I suspect it happened because of the location you were at. Oh and by the way we all pay taxes. Practice Manager

    I’ve had to call a few times lately and I went to the practice today. All times the staff have been kind and friendly. The traditional view of a gatekeeper GP receptionist doesn’t apply here. They’ve listened and tried to help me each time. Today’s appt with the nurse went smoothly although we both felt the building is looked tired. It’s people that look after you though and I’ve been grateful for the help of the staff at this practice.
