    My mother's repeat script not done meds were soon to run out, she contacted surgery by phone as unable to use online services, no one bothered to answer, I then tried to phone still no answer just constant repeated message, I then had to make my way to surgery as mother is housebound, to be told to use online services, explained that mother is elderly and not able to use this to be told I don't have consent to speak on her behalf said if someone answered the phone would not have had to come down on her behalf, said someone will ring her, finally sent a text to say script had been sent to chemist, appalling service if you can't access the things you need, script had been put in 9 days previous

    I was advised, by the Hospital, to make an appointment to see my Doctor. I called up the Doctors Surgery at 09:00 and, after waiting 97 minutes, soneone finally answered the phone! I was offered a telephone appointment for Janaury 2024; we're in November 2023! It only takes 2 minutes to call me and discuss, but instead, I now have to wait 2 months! Ever since Stanmore took over, it's been a rapid decline in 'service'!

    I’ve been on hold for 1.5 hours trying to get through to this practice. My partner was misdiagnosed by a GP at this practice and also refused an MRI. Fortunately we’ve now gone through BUPA who sent for an MRI immediately who found his ACL on his knee is completely detached so needs urgent surgery. He has had months of unnecessary pain because the GP was incompetent. Only calling now to get a sick note and even that is impossible. God forbid anybody on your list gets seriously unwell!! We will be changing from this surgery ASAP.

    It doesn't seem possible to contact Stanmore Medical Group by phone anymore. You just listen to a Doctor repeating a message 35 times whilst saying how important your call is. Why is the group doing its best to have as little contact with people as possible? It doesn't make sense and in all honesty is probably the worst decision for patient care made yet. Who comes up with these hair brained schemes that tell you it's s an improvement when plainly it is not. I would happily leave this dreadful GP practice but where else can you go? Switzerland maybe!!

    After calling the surgery for an appointment the message tells you to use the online system unless the is a reason you cannot do this . The reason is when you try it says it's not available. I then rang back and waited over an hour with still no answer just constant ringing . Please correct this so at least patients can try to decrease the calls . I still have no appointment and need to try again tomorrow

    The practice has introduced an online system for every form of contact with them. This is fine until I received a text message giving me a link to book an appointment but when I tried to do so, was told there are no appointments available and to phone the surgery. I did phone, only to have a recorded message on permanent loop, so it is impossible to speak to anyone. So I can't get an appointment they have asked me to make and I can't tell them that. How on earth are people who cannot use the internet supposed to access care from this practice. It is an absolute disgrace.

    Used the new booking system today. It is brilliant. I filled out the form with my details. 10 minutes later, I had a face to face appointment for that afternoon. No hanging around on the telephone. Well done Stanmore.

    I waited 1 month for a telephone appointment. Doctor rang and waited precisely 29 seconds before putting the phone down! I rang surgery back within 4 minutes, but was deemed to have missed my 'appointment'. Odd that in my on-line record its showing as a 10 minute appointment?? I now have to wait a further 10 days to try and speak again to this Doctor. How is this acceptable?

    I have always loved my surgery, I've been a patient for over 30 years. To ask for an appointment, that was/is not an emergency but isn't non urgent either, I have to wait over 6 weeks to either have a face-to-face or a phone call. I am having to consider paying to see a private doctor as this surgery is not able to treat or see those that need it. I suspect many patients that are truly poorly, but not urgent at the time of making the appointment, by the time 6 weeks has come around, will have been admitted to hospital. I am so bitterly disappointed with my surgery. I know things are busy and over subscribed, but 6 weeks! really? If it was 3 weeks i would of been angry still but maybe understood. 6 weeks Is not acceptable - and no this was not a routine/non urgent need.

    Understand why restricted appts during Covid but don't understand why it is still the case. Getting through on the phone to make an appt is a nightmare. Left holding with no idea what number you are in the queue and having to listen to the same awful music over and over and over and over again. In addition they closed my nearest surgery at Poplars even though it is clear the other surgeries cannot cope. If this was a private practice it would go bust due to such bad service. I have not actually seen a doctor for over 3 years.
