Appoint ran 1/2hr late, GP finally decided to call me…but wait, calls out a completely different name and blames it on not having glasses on. Funny how the next person’s name is called out perfectly well.

Sorry you feel your experience was poor. Unfortunately all clinical staff can run behind at times in clinic as some people are acutely unwell and some need more time than the appointment duration. On average I personally am involved in over 300 different patients episodes of care a day and very frequently find remembering the name of a patient goes from my mind on the walk to a waiting room. It doesn't appear that this prevented you being seen. Sincerely Dr Lunn

Received my 'flu' and covid booster today. The appointment went smoothly and there was no delay. Many friends my age and older have not yet been given an appointment date so I am impressed with the efficiency of my GP Practice in looking after myself and other patients. Thank you.

Submitted an online triage form via the practice website had a text about an hour later with an appointment to see a clinician within the next 48 hours. So much easier than calling in the morning with everyone else trying to get an appointment. People may not like this system but with the pressure surgeries are under it only makes sense and the times I have had to use the new system it works very well. All the staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help. The last time I was in the surgery a patient was shouting at the receptionist because he forgot to order his prescription…. Thank you all for your help and always remember there are still patients that appreciate the pressures you are under and grateful for the help you provide.

I had my Covid booster today and it was great as per usual, staff were very friendly and the parking guy in the car park made my day with his funny hat.

Last September or October I visited the doctor who referred me to dermatology. I visited the surgery on 13 May this year for a different issue, and happened to see the same doctor who I saw last year. I mentioned to him that I hadn’t heard anything from the dermatologist since I saw you last year. He checked his computer and he discovered that the referral hadn’t gone through, though couldn’t explain why, which I wasn’t too pleased about, on account of the unnecessary discomfort I suffered for the past 8 months. He did apologise and sent the referral a second time ‘urgently’. I phoned the surgery on 22 May to check if the referral had gone through. The receptionist confirmed that the referral had gone through and sent me a link for me to check that the referral had been forwarded. It’s unfortunate that I had to chase the surgery up about my referral to the dermatologist!

Over 20 minutes in the queue to speak to some one at surgery to book an appointment. (By the way, I was in queue position 1 and still had a long wait). When the receptionist answered, I was told to book my appointment online. I had pressed the correct option number required to get a staff member to do the booking so was unsure why she should be turning me away. She eventually ran through some questions, then someone rang me later in the day to confirm time and date of appointment which I accepted. Turned up for appointment and was told it had been cancelled. I asked who by as it was certainly not me. They did not know who had cancelled it. I explained I had a text confirming the date/time of appointment. My phone/email showed no messages from them to say they had cancelled my appointment. I had specially requested (unpaid) time off work for this appointment. The appointment booking system is appalling and is made difficult in what feels like the hope that you will get so fed up you will give up. I have been using this surgery for over 50 years and you used to ring up, book an appointment over the phone and turn up. Now you are lucky if you can get to be seen at Forest Hall (each time I have been offered appointments at alternative locations), and personally, I have have no idea of who the doctor is I will be seeing. In the past, you were familiar with all the doctors at the practice. I have never known what was once a good surgery go downhill so fast.

It's zero star service. When I need an appointment, they tild me, that for some reasons, I wasn't signed with them. I was a week before and now I don't. Horrible, disgraceful ssrvice. Avoid them at any means necessary.

Excellent. Very efficient. In and out within two minutes. Friendly and extremely well organized. The review website is daft tho as I have to write more to make it count.

A huge thank you to Drs treating my father and the receptionist in being so thorough with my father and sorting his hospital treatment. It’s stressful when you’ve an elderly parent serious ill but your support, kindness and professionalism has been of huge comfort. Thank you so much
