Review titled Fantastic Practice & Service!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Emma A - Posted on 12 March 2024
I wanted to leave a review on my experiences as I’ve always had fantastic service. I appreciate that we all have to queue to book an emergency appointments. However, once you get through or just contact the surgery all the staff are helpful and just want to help you. Stand out service especially when my Dad passed away and support with the ongoing care for my Mom and all the staff in the office. Thank you as we know how stretched and under pressure you all are.

Review titled Poor level of care
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Emily - Posted on 10 February 2023
I have had recurring back pain since March 2022. It got so bad I had sciatic pain all down my right leg I could barely walk. I called the surgery multiple times and spoke to the same Dr, they advised me it was “tight back muscles” and to try getting a massage. I wasn’t happy with this response so paid to see a Chiropractor who suggested I need a mri. They wrote a letter to stirchley medical advising of why they thought this would benefit me. I did get referred for an mri eventually, whilst waiting the pain was so bad it was unbearable. I was put in cocodamol and naproxen and have been on them since August ( which I have now been advised is dangerous to be taking for so long) I then called and spoke to the same Dr at stirchley complaining about the pain and their response was “what do you want me to do about it” and that the mri could take months. Fast forward to today and I am currently under a consultant at rjah orthopaedic hospital awaiting a date for spinal surgery. I have a very large prolapsed disc and am at high risk of cauda equina syndrome which could potentially leave me paralysed. I feel like I was not taken seriously at all, I was neglected and if it wasn’t for the chiropractor sending that letter I probably wouldn’t of been sent for the mri. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with them anymore now I’m under a consultant at the rjah.
