I am happy to leave an excellent review for Stourport Medical Centre as I have received excellent health care from the doctors and staff at the centre. I have been with the surgery for just over a year and although I am not always able to make an appointment to see a doctor I have found that when I have contacted the Centre with my symptoms through the messaging / Consultation service the medical staff have responded excellently. I was asked to attend the surgery on two occasions as my condition deteriorated and both times I was thoroughly examined and prescribed medicine, as well as receiving a follow-up up call on my condition. I now have a hospital appointment to ensure I'm on the road to recovery. I can't fault the surgery, even at their busiest times they gave me their best attention and care at all times. Thank you

Got in touch by phone re a chest / coughing problem. Telephone screening appointment later that morning leading to a face to face appointment early evening. Saw a clinician; diagnosed and prescribed anti-biotics which I was taking by early evening. Great service. Have also recently used the MC website for an online consultation leading to an appointment being arranged in two weeks time; convenient for both MC and me. Very good service all round.

I cannot thank the prescription team enough since November I have been chasing up a prescription from Worcester Hospital and no matter how many times I have rang the team at stourport surgery they have been fantastic and so re ensuring and gone above and beyond chasing up my prescription.

I just wanted to provide some positive feedback on SMC and how great it has been to deal with the whole team, on a number of health issues, since I attended a ‘Well Man’s Clinic’ in early January 2023. I have dealt with two GPs, plus their broader team, who have all been very attentive with my subsequent needs, especially ‘BP’ issues. I have found my various points of contact, with SMC, always to be very efficient and particularly prompt; thank you. I’m also very impressed with their strong integrated use of technology, especially around submitting ‘BP’ readings - what a cinch! SMC have made it so easy to message. I promptly got hold of things like a ‘Fit Note’ and medical reports, regularly within hours of my request. They have made it so easy on many fronts. I also really liked that one of the GPs made an unscheduled call to check progress and even me called me back when I was just about to go on Teams call; great flexibility for a GP who’s no doubt in demand. Thank you so much, from one happy late 50 year old, who has rarely touched the NHS, but whose experience has found SMC to be most accommodating. Keep with the great team work guys - so much appreciated.

My nurse has been working with me on getting my HRT dosage correct and it has taken 18 months and we are finally there. The nurse had discussions with her colleagues about my symptoms and referred me for a scan to ensure I was ok. Thankfully after a hysteroscopy and a biopsy, everything is fine and I feel so reassured. She helped me through the journey and kept trying different approaches until we found the right one and took the approach of “better to be safe” and refer me for a scan. Thanks so much and it makes a huge difference when you are going through the peri-menopause/menopause and someone is helping you. My nurse would see me face and face and check my vitals which makes a huge difference and she would ring me back quickly when I needed to update her. This is brilliant service!

I have only partial hearing one ear only and lip read. I visited Stourport Health Centre today for an annual review. The nurse I saw was the kindest and most sensitive to my hearing loss that I could have wished for. She was able to communicate with me in a way which I could understand and write down exactly what I needed to know, thus preserving my dignity.

My husband became ill before Christmas. He was seen immediately by the duty doctor and started medication. In the following week he developed a further problem which resulted in hospital care. The doctors were so efficient organising this and since then have been very caring and attentive in their follow up. I would always recommend Stourport Medical Centre. The staff are always helpful.

I have attended Stourport medical centre on many occasions and have always found it a good experience. The practice has recently moved to new premises with excellent parking facilities and well organised patient facilities. It is a pleasure to attend an appointment there.
